Noob questions on Demo bootcamp mission 6 "Team"

Checking out the demo, looks worthy of buying yesterday. Having trouble with a demo bootcamp mission #6 "Team".

Never had to ask for help on a demo mission before, lol.. but.. I send the guy up to the supply depot in a Humvee to pick up a guy.. and can't figure it out. He gets up there and I'm lost.

I hate to jump in a game without figuring out the simple things first. What am I missing here?

I have never touched the tutorial, but give me a description of what it's about and i should be able to help you out a bit.

Starts out where you select a soldier by putting your crosshairs on them and hitting space. You order him to another location by pointing to ground. You then tell him to "regroup", he runs over.

Next you tell him to get in humvee, pull up map with "m", and have him drive to a supply depot to pick up a guy. Get him to drive up there using the map, but there is no description on how to go about getting someone to get into the vehicle.

Do you have control over the other person?

Jump in the car with the guy who's driving and see what you can do if you are there with him.

I actually did do that.. went with him. No one cooperates.. heh.

Think I got it figured out. Maybe.. going to restart and make sure i can duplicate what I did.

you're not supposed to get in the humvee with him

Same thing happened to me! The soldier runs off in the Humvee to never return!?

I also found that during the very first training session, where you pick up the injured soldier (after the shooting range and exercise run) lift the soldier onto my shoulders and then cannot move!

I tried to rely on the tutorials for hints on how to play the game. lol It blows to have a nonfunctioning tutorial.

You dont jump in with him. Follow the instructions, he'll drive to the selected point on the map, then you'll need to change to other player and pick up your other team mate, then proceed to drive them both back. You'll then swap back to coops.

The first aid bit bugged out on me too, just reverted and it was all good.

It is quite a functional tutorial and will teach you heaps about the controls. Worth doing if your new.
