Mando Missile ArmA for ArmA 2

Might you try this with official patch, no beta? what you describe is a game frozen or game crash to desktop? Any extra info in server or client rpt?

Still crashing using official patch. It's going straight to desktop on Win7 64-bit. Latest Nvidia drivers for 570GTX. I do notice an ACCESS_VIOLATION in the client rpt. Not sure if this is related or not but both rpts are below.

Still crashing using official patch. It's going straight to desktop on Win7 64-bit. Latest Nvidia drivers for 570GTX. I do notice an ACCESS_VIOLATION in the client rpt. Not sure if this is related or not but both rpts are below.

This client crash is also happening on a friends system. WinXP. When he is connected to a dedicated, or even a listen MP server his client crashes to desktop immediately when the nuke detonates, while the listen server player stays in the game without interruption.

Nija, Asuming you are using the script suite, you can do the following test:

Open mando_missiles\warheads\echo\nuclear_explosion.sqf

Coment the line:

// damage

// -->> Comented [_pos, _yield, _mode, echo_nuke_fnc_damageSectional, echo_nuke_fnc_fires] spawn echo_nuke_fnc_damage;

And try. If the problem persists, uncoment that line and coment the last one:

// [_pos, _yield] spawn echo_nuke_fnc_damageNonClass;

Neither suggestion stops a client from crashing as soon as you hear detonation sound. Thanks for the suggestions though.

Coment the nuke_fnc_cloud and try, if the problem is still there, coment another one in that block starting with the shockwave.

Are you using 1.59? Does this happens also from the editor or in SP mode? The same happens with other mods loaded?

Ran into a problem with the BAF Lynx - the missiles are not tracking the laser dot but flying straight and level. I havn't had an opportunity to test whether this is ACE, Mando, BAF or another addon causing the bug but before I expend too much effort, has it been reported/resolved already?

Not reported before, but as far as I remember you should first use the laser, transmit (validate) the target and then fire the missiles in remote mode against your own current target.

I would still like to thank you for this mod that allows proper use of aviation in Arma 2 and the system misille.

I can bring you a little bug: the new version Mi28 CO, version Vikhr 9K121 has the console of the Ataka ... which prevented the use of the console and makes it unusable Mi28. As for the Ataka version does not seem compatible mando missile.

Are there any addons incompatible with this mod? I've got a strange bug where handheld guided missiles such as Stinger, Metis, Javelin, etc shoot blanks. I cannot get a lock with any of these weapons and when I fire there is no missile. Almost like it is shooting air. Aircraft are fine. Also I don't know how in the world to actually enable the air support module. I'm not using ACE.

I dont know of compatibility issues not ACE2/Javelin related, while it might happen (just make sure you are using A2+OA, not OA alone).

About Console activation, have a look here for mando_giveme_console.sqf (universal console allowance script).

I had the same problem. Had to remove Mando Missiles, as when not in use, I couldn't use the stock guilded missiles.

acknowledge, it is not a matter of a lack of interest, but a lack of time. I'm pretty sure if you have a look at the setups of the rest of the planes, you will be able to easily create the MMA setups for these addons.

Just tested this again on MP. Mando Missiles is enabled by the pilot seat only, but not the gunner's seat. The gunner can select firing mode (LOBL/LOAL etc) but has no option to transmit laser designator and the missile still fly straight, not tracking the laser spot as intended.

I'm using v2.4b9.6 + ACE and have the relevant Mando modules in mission.

Is that incompatibility with ACE2 (regarding Javelins etc) still a problem?

The Javelin fires but does not go after targets, if I disable ACE2, they work fine.

I guess I am answering my own question but I am asking to be sure (in case I have missed an update or whatever).

How do I get the AC130 working? I hear there's one in Mando, yet I cannot find it.

I can't for the life of me figure out the Air Support Console. There's no game logic for it and... I just don't know how to activate it is all.

Is it at all possible to make the SCUD able to rearm any type of ordnance?

What exactly is the special "G" camera mode for in the UH60 Black Hawk? I can't seem to lift anything, how do I do this and what's it for?

There are separate mods that allow you to lift and carry things. That's what that camera mode is for.
