green screen in windows help please!!

Recommended Posts

ok im having a BIG problem.. i have the steam version of arma 2, and i was playing it today without any problems, until my screen just went green, like i had night vision. in fact i thought i had just accidentally pressed the key. fact is, i pressed it and pressed it again, and i could see that the night vision was turning on and off because at the beginning you will see darker, before your soldier gets ''used'' to it, and only after a second or so will the green ''kick in'' but there was absoultely no difference between having it on or off. i exited the game, and saw that arma 2 menu had the greenish tinge of the night vision. so i exited arma, and windows too had the greenish tinge of night vision. i restarted the pc, i even ripristined yesterday's checkpoint in the windows system config repristination thing, but my screen still is all greenish.

its only green when connected to the PC btw.

im sure this is caused by arma because it transforms everything to the precise arma NVG colors.

please help me fix this ASAP!!

This is a picture of my monitor atm...

I don't see how that could be an Arma problem if it's still there after you've rebooted..unless maybe it somehow changed your display settings? Might double check them

If not then the only thing I can think of is something wrong with your GPU or monitor. Can you try test monitor on a different PC?
