Core i7 920, GTX295, 6GB RAM. Vista 64. xp32 was best for me, out of xp32/vista64/win7x64 build7600 - with same spec as you. have u overclocked cpu at all? Monkwarrior 0 Posted October 11, 2009 I still am certain that for most configurations XP is the winner. If you have a choice then I suggest 32bit XP, other choices could work out fine, but will seldom give you the same performance. Of course there could be other considerations about choosing another OS, but IMO if you want to play arma then there is only 1 best choice: XP 32bit. Monk. Nazul 10 Posted October 11, 2009 Ive got same specs as you Barso and it runs great on Win7. Did have to disable hyperthreading because it made it jerky. I recommend the upgrade, make sure you use the latest nvidia drivers too, 191.07 for even more gain. Answer to your question, Yes great improvements with the upgrade from vista64!
