SPECOPx 10 Posted October 8, 2009 I found a great server called Tatical Gamers the other day and we played a match where 4 bodyguards (I was one of them!) are charged with protecting a scientist, while he completes his objectives. Once his objectives are done we are to escort him to the US Border. The other real players are charged with hunting us down and killing our scientist (so they can win the match). To cut it short it took two hours escorting him to the various objectives and we had to use many different vehicles. For instance, 3 of the bodyguards got in 3 separate cars and all went in different directions, while the scientist got in a charter bus with a bodyguard as the driver. All 3 of the bodyguards got blown up by an IED, due to the heli's spotting us out. While, the scientist made it to and completed the first obj he then hopped into another car, while we scouted the next obj. and this happened until our last obj. which was to reach the US border. It was clearly marked on the enemy's and our map. So, we knew we were in for a treat along the only road leading to the US Border. What we didn't know was that the idiotic enemies would blow the IEDs too early to affect our jeep (all 4 bodyguards plus the scientist were riding in one jeep). We laughed while we hauled our butts to the border to call it a day. Took about 2 hours and 30 mins. The most fun I have had in a tatical shooter ever. Muahaha 10 Posted October 8, 2009 It's always nice and enjoyable to read nice arma2 gaming experiences. It's often the little actions here n there that makes it so nice..... Maybe the Mods should consider starting a Arma2 WarStories/Battle report thread to let the players add their Arma2 gaming experiences (text n pics) and share it with the rest of the community.
