I can no longer find myself on the map.

im doing one of the missions in singleplayer, i dont know if i pushed something wrong, but i can no longer see myself on the map, i checked everywhere, tried restarting the game and the mission.

Nothing works.

simply choose a lower difficulty level or press esc button ingame to change your difficulty settings manually

Or, open up your GPS (if the mission allows it) default control RCTRL + M, remember your coord, open your map, and connect the dots. But if you can't handle that, yeah put your difficulty down.

ahh i see now its because im playing on veteran, to bad i wanted some challenge, problem is im not very good with coords and mapping, so ill lower it.

You can still go lower like recruit, but go into difficulty and set the AI skill up, plus disable other things to match veteran.

Its all adjustable.

Veteran is about looking at landmarks/map though - like reality.
