Island Panthera for ArmA 2

Does ALICE work with this island? I've checked through the changelogs and I've never seen it mentioned. I've never been able to get ALICE working on Panthera. I'm not sure if it's even the case that it doesn't work on this island or if I'm just dense and not setting it up right.

Thanks for the update. If I can get ALICE working it will be even better. Thanks again for the hard work!

EDIT:

The new textures are much better. The ground color looks much more natural. Excellent job.

If anyone can get ALICE/SILVIE to work could you please post a quick example mission using this island. For the life of me, I can't get them working.

Awesome work man! The only thing I did notice, and its something small, is that the screen for selecting the island displays the wrong version.

Downloaded the file again and installed Panthera again. Started Panthera without any other addons/mods. Same window with the message

appeared in the background.

I closed this window (was a little bit tricky) and ARMA 2 started.

I loaded Panthera in the editor and following message appeared:

Cannot open object ibr\ibr_dtowns\posed.p3d

I clicked on "continue" and placed an AH-1Z and clicked "preview". After loading the following message was shown:

Cannot open object ibr\ibr_dtowns\hut06.p3d

I clicked again on "continue" and enjoyed the fantastic scenery.

If I'm the only one with these problems, I will try several things tomorrow.

One out of 15 of our players experienced "your" problem. We don't know what is the reason.

The new Panthera destroys my FPS.

Its lower than Razoriyna.

Its that new grass you added. Its like Arma 1 grass, but in dense clusters.

It did fix the road issue I was having in earlier versions, its just I cant play on this island now because of the FPS.

Running vanilla A2 patch 1.5/ not beta patches

Only mod running is Isla Panthera downloaded from Armaholic

Only problem other than the errors is a funny line on the map at the FOB (see included screen)

suhsjake, Enad & co.: thx for the report, I'll take care of the errors and release an update. And also take a look what exactly is causing lag in some places (clutter, something else). For now please use Duala v1.31 to get rid of the startup error, it seems I left a dependancy. New verrsion will be released during this weekend.

If you experince "rock.probability/hut06/posed" error install Isla Duala and the error will disappear. That is a temporary solution until I release a new version featuring all the bugfixes (day or two). Thanks.

Sorry, but island Douala is not necessary for me. You let release the Panther - provide _her_ functionality. You do not buy to the Skoda a wheel from the Caterpillar?

Hey Varga, downloading Isla Duala is just a temporary fix for the Isla Panthera map. He didn't mean for Panthera to require Duala, but it was a unfortunate accident during the packing process. He is fixing it now so he can release a new version that doesn't require Duala.

Please be patience as working with Visitor is a big pain in the arse.

Old users of Panthera should really see the difference. I'll polish out the bugs and release new version it as soon the final tests are done.
