Included you will find traffic signs that were introduced in 1926 and some new ones that were an effect of the traffic code reform started in late 1938; Unfortunatelly with the start of the war the reform and all new signs have not been implemented;

On the other hand the occupying force introduced their own signs to the polish region;

Result was a wartime-mess with all kinds of different signs all around...

All has been removed and unified eventually, but not until the late 40's/early 50's

With the .psd you should be more than able to make direction signs for all the towns and villages that will be on your map; the ones I included shall only be a template to customize

I see 2 kind of arrows. Which are usable in which causes?

The one to the left is more 'modern' and is to be seen on many post '39 pics; The german ones seemed to follow the same shape and overall look

Have not seen the one to the right too often; must be the older one; from the 20's

It seems they were coexistent;

Re signs;

1926 ones -> these are the blue ones

1938 ones -> white/red

after 1939 -> well, most obvious -> german or polish/german inscriptions

hint:

first from the left [with '20'] is equivalent to today's Taxi Stand ;)

blue with JEDEN KIERUNEK JAZDY means One Way Only [same means Einbahnstrasse]
