Replacing serial without reinstalling - possible?

I've installed ArmA on 2 computers (mine and my brothers) and we both want to play online, so I bought another copy of ArmA and just want to avoid the uninstall reinstall just for the new serial.

I know you can do it in CoD4 for example within the game's UI,

in some other games through the registry.

You can relax, it is a legal copy of ArmA2 :)

Well i guess its in the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->Bohemia Interactive Studios->ArmA2 under KEY.

But i dont have a clue on how to exchange the key, in my eyes it seems to be saved in some malformed hexadecimal. :p

Anyways, you could have reinstalled it in the few hours that this topic has been running.

Its encrypted hexadecimal, so best bet is to just reinstall. You don't need to remove your old user files, just uninstall, reinstall and patch
