Jackael 10 Posted September 10, 2009 Can you "freeze" objects in place? For example, when you shoot table objects they move. Can you lock them in place so they don't?
cobra4v320 27 Posted September 10, 2009 Have you tried the attachto command?
Jackael 10 Posted September 10, 2009 I'm not sure how I'd use it to attach an object to the ground.
cobra4v320 27 Posted September 11, 2009 (edited) Attach it to a gamelogic, I tested this and hit it with a HMMWV and I hopped right over it, folding table never moved. OR Create an empty ammobox and put it underground this setpos [(getpos this select 0), (getpos this select 1), -.5] Your table this attachto [ammoboxname,[0,0,-.1]] Hit with truck and never moved. Jackael 10 Posted September 11, 2009 Cool, it works fine. Thanks
shuko 59 Posted September 11, 2009 Attaching to an invisible hpad works nicely as well. Empty statics are preferred over game logics, because they don't have any AI, thus use less cpu. Not that it probably really matter, but a good practice.

cobra4v320 27 Posted September 11, 2009 I don't like using H's especially when there are helicopters flying around they tend to land on them. Thanks Gaia for that info.
