OFP Addon request thread

Hello,

I am looking for missions using the CoC Command Engine both for OPF and OPF:WGL. Single player missions are fine, multiplayer missions including PvP would be gold!

Also, if anyone would have a neat tutorial beside the official one, I would be happy to get my hands on that too :-)

COC CE was never MP-compatible as far as I remember.

You're a Ranger company commander evacuating civilians; you have to seize an airport and fly the civies and yourself out.

Then there are PMC campaigns and single missions which use COC CE:

I recommend the baltic campaign, though I haven't finished even the first mission yet :D

COC CE was never MP-compatible as far as I remember.

I am not so sure: Check out the PMC CE MP NAM mission at PMC Tactical Missions. They clearly state that it is MP and working.

Does anyone know where to find the "Resistance Object Patch" addOn? It's a type of editor update addOn like Mikero's or Kegetys', but using that addOn wouldn't add any required addOns to the mission, because it used the original classnames. So this addOn would only reveal the hidden objects for the mission maker to use, without the player needing to download the addOn to play the mission. It used to be hosted on OFPEC, but now it's gone.

I think it was Kegety's Editorupdate 102 that unlocked the hidden objects. As i recall there wasn't many. Also there was a patch that fixed some ladders that didn't work and something with the HUD. Like Sttuu "something" ladder hud patch

No, Kegetys' editor update was like any other editor update too - The player would also require the addOn to play the mission.

I just found out that the author's name was apparently Girt, if it helps anyhow.

I could always ask the guys from OFPEC too if they happened to have the file in their archieves...

Anybody knows some other Libyan units apart these from DMA Libya pack (Ironsights soldiers and retextured BRDM)? Because using Iraqi units is funny, but, you know, realism matters. I'm looking mainly for tanks, helicopters and planes.

There are a lot of addOns that could fit in. I will give you a few examples, but you should be able to find some more from OFPR.info too.

Red Hammer Studios makes some quality Soviet era stuff that I believe Libya uses / used. Some of the vehicles even come in desert coloring, like their Hinds. You might also want to have a look their tanks:

I'm already using RHS stuff, but as I said this is Iraqi stuff... And apart from Airwolf mod Libyan-like units, I couldn't find any other Libyan stuff on ofp.info... So I'll stay with RHS. But thanks, at least you've tryed!

Not that I really believe that I might find one, but has anyone seen a LAV-25 for WGL? The LAV package from SEF is really great, but it has no config files for WGL.

That also would apply to some kick ass Huey addons :)

I've never played on Razor's server, but the only mission I have ever seen of their's is Corner to Corner. Looking at the addon pack that I have there are no CTI addons. Also if you look at this archive of missions played going back to 2006 it all looks like all coop missions.

Yup, I was thinking about this. Landscape is very good but villages look too modern for XIX century.

Anyways I can always use a "green" landscape as well. I have Bull Run and Gettysburg map already.

That may be your best bet, the only onther thing I can think of would be a WW2 island, but still a bit modern for the Wild West...:)

Right, we didn't do ctis, but the Roughnecks [RN] did one. A mfcti on cat_afghan based on the addon pack we used.

It's name is: "MFCTI.COM Coop: Afghanistan R7"
