Grayuk 10 Posted September 6, 2009 OK! So, where's the answer. It's September 09 and I still don't see a definitive answer to this problem. I still get the fault, I've un-installed and re-installed the game, and the patches. I'm using Nvidia 8800GTS, a new Gigabyte m/board. 4Gig ram, but only XP Pro 32bit. Sometimes I can play for a couple of hours before any trouble, then again like tonight, 15 minutes is my lot. I'm only on a 2meg download and I am seriously hoping that that is not the problem. Someone, somewhere, must have come up with an answer by now! I thought it might be at my end, but then again, Patch 1.03, states that it had sorted this problem? (Dah!). Please if you think you know the answer, please tell me, and I'm sure many, many others, what it is!!!
Flash Thunder 10 Posted September 15, 2009 This has been happening all the time to my friend while we play MP. Im sure he has the same specs as you win XP 32bit, 4GB ram and but he has am Nvidia 8800GTX. Sometimes he can respawn and then sometimes it just says recieving and when he backs out of Arma 2 the game wont close. BIS you really need to address this glitch soon..... 4 out of 5 aint cutting it and it obviously was not fixed in 1.03
-=Firewall=- 10 Posted September 15, 2009 Well, I had the same problem some time ago. First all works fine, but then I changed some graphic options and then the receiving bug was there. I changed the settings back and forward but nothing worked. Finally I deleted the arma2 profile in the nvidia control panel and used only standard options in arma2.It was slightely better, but not solved. I solved the problem by using the -window mode in arma2. Don't know why it works fine for me now, but I can play. Yesterday I had a great 5 hour warfare game. triangle 10 Posted September 15, 2009 You could try the latest beta or wait for the 1.04 patch which is imminent - the latest betas fixed this entirely on the machine I was experiencing it (have two with separate ARMA2 installs for LAN).
