Thx great evo-version

Is HQ-chopper still spawning on top of eachother in this ver ?

By the way - many players seems to can not spawn with their last used gear. I found a way to save my loadout. Take what u need, then move away from the ammocrates and press G. The inventory shows and quickly disappears - then my inventory are saved and next time i die i respawn with same loadout.

Can you tell me how to recruit troops in the Unlocked version please.

Same like normal version , u press "T" .

First u have to kill min. 1 Enemy. So you Rank up. U have to kill 6 Enemy's for Rank Colonel....and u have all Options free to choose....include your AI's.

Many German Users said this Version ist to hard. Ok...i've made a "normal" Version for all if the V3.7 is toooooo hard ;)

Shure....it's possible. There are a few parameters in a few Scripts do you have to change. :eek:

Do you have try out the Normal Verion ? This Version ist pretty good to play with 4-6 Players.

What is the difference between the two?

With the new parameter system there are great opportunities to allow the admin to do a lot of settings in the lobby.

I'm currently modding a crCTI that has 11 custom parameters available in the lobby. Maybe one could do something similar with the EVO.

I will look at the Normal Version, but I was wanting the Unlocked Normal version as I am modifying the vehicles adding AddOns like the F16 etc. So what's easier, modifying Normal to Unlock or Modifying Unlock to Normal?

RazorCH is it normal for obj to have more than 200 infantry and and endless supply of armor?

I played the unlock v3.7 and I killed 740 infantry and around forty tanks. plus a lot of other vehicles. Is that normal?

Other than that I am loving your Evo thanks and keep on making it better.

Yesssss.Shure ;) . They became unlimited Reinforcements.....U have to destroy the Tower ( Headquarter ) to stop this. After this Job you can clean the City.

I know...it isn't easy in Normal Version. This is a Multiplayer Map for min. 4 Players. The HC Version is for min. 10 Players.

It's a wish from you and other Players to have an easier Version ?

No Problem...i can make an easy Version for 1 - 2 Players :eek:

I'm working on a edit with loads of parameters. You will be able to switch Revive on/off, set grass, view distance, difficulty (easy, normal and hard core). Also you will be able switch the Teleport function on/off on different levels (MHQ > Base, Base > MHQ, Base > FARP will have separate parameters for on/off) also Locked/Unlocked will be in the parameters.

This way, one version will suit every need of difficulty and locked/unlocked.

this is my favourite Evo for Arma2. 3.7 has added lots of nice touches and fixes over 3.6 - and 3.6 was great.

IMO, Normal version is not too hard for single player, so an easier version is unnecessary. After the next official patch, maybe you can add a setting for the number of players in order to scale the enemy. Or, you can script it so the server adjusts enemy reinforcements to suit the number of players ;).

The hardcore version btw is not to be taken lightly! The first town held for 24hrs! The situation was partially caused by a UAZ-MG hidden in the forest. When I was working on my Arma1 Evo ripoff, I considered adding code to make the town surrender if there were players in the town for a certain length of time AND there had been no kills or deaths. Just an idea for consideration - it's great as it is.

I updated the file. Now the Easy settings actually easier than Normal.

Nice with the new parameter-settings and revive - but unfortunately this ver keeps crashing server. 3 times now in a row after 20-40mins of playing server crashes. Server running latest beta 59025 with 1 addon - latest cba.
