Recommended Posts

This is my second release and has got to be one of my best.

Operation Dead kings "Mission 2 of Socom Black Ops campaign"

Please leave me some feedback.

Intel

"The situation in Utes is coming to a boiling point. Informants in the NSA have provided us with intel of a meeting between Russia's high ranking general Dmitry Medvedev and the mob syndicate boss Oleg Liakhovich. They are meeting to discuss the sale of a stolen U.S. UAV. We have been given the go ahead by Russian brass and U.S black ops to implement operation Dead Kings. Eliminate both men and destroy the UAV so it does not fall in to the wrong hands"

"Use a 50 cal from the supply

drop to kill the drug boss and the general while they meet at the meeting location.

Hey,

mission doesn´t run correctly with latest betapatch.

The UH-1 doesn´t leave me out/lands on uta. He flies over one position in a high of 20 meters and does nothing else.

I'll check into that.

I just tried it 5 times with the beta patch and it dropped me off at the same point with no bugs. I'm sorry about your problem. Are you running any ai mods. That might be effecting the landing. I do however have a solution for you. Eject when the helo is over the drop off point. It will work fine. Once again sorry man. Let me know if you like the mission.

hmmm.. don´t know what´s going wrong by me.... huey flies to utes correctly...... i run it only with the mods are needed. but when it arrives on utes, the enemey is shooting 3 times on the huey, then he stopps and does nothing else.... hmmm..... i can´t eject in a high of 20 meters..... > die.......

testet it on friends pc on arma 2 with latest patch 58932... same problem... some times the huey starts on the LHD before i could get in... so he stands in the air over the LHD.....

don´t know whats going wrong there but same problem on both pc´s, every time we tried it.

sry for simple and bad english... but it´s late ;)

I'll think of something. I don't want this mission to be buggy since it is going in my custom campaign. I'll try a different approach. Do you know how to edit missions? You might be able to just change the insertion point. If not I'll try and do it tonight. Sorry again bro.

There is something I just thought of. I am using the CbA mod tools. Dont know if this makes a difference though.

hmmm i tried it now with the CBA tools, so i´m wondering it´s going well and the mission run´s correctly.

in the other way, i edit the mission just a liddle bit, like you told and it runs well without the CBA tool too.

thx for your help (but don´t know whats going wrong only because the cba tools?!)

so well mission runs as i say and it´s a realy funny mission, i like it.

looking forward for your campaign ;)

Glad you got it working. I'm new to Arma editing and I'm just learning how to make good missions. I'm big on single player action so I try to make missions that are long, tactical, and fun to play with out a hundred units draining your cpu. Thanks for the comments.
