US Army 2009 Units

cool new weapons and units. but i have some errors...

The MG belts do not animate properly.

The new AR, not the MG, but just the M249 has sound issues. it does not work with Sound of War for example. It has the vilas M249 noise as opposed to the BIS or sound mod one which makes it sound out of place in a squad.

The goggles on the gunner units are opaque at certain angles.

Also, what are the classnames for the new weapons?

Great to see this addon improving, really enjoying it. With the new backpacks and a few minor bugs fixed this will be perfect!

Hey Bink th eline says it all. Man I have 7 months left in Afghanistan. I can't wait to come home to catch up on VBS2 and get a copy of Arma2

M249 Para in config uses BIS sound

Ok my bad. I'm so used to SoW, that I forgot what the BIS sound was like. Anyways, there seems to be an incompatibility because the M249 doesn't use the SoW M249 sound

Hi,

I haven't read the whole thread but I'm having an issue where the aimpoint's dots are a fuzzy gray color. Any solutions?

Other than that this mod is great! Good work!

Me and Vilas are looking in to the Red Dot on the aimpoints problem as we speak. I'll inform you guys as soon as we figure it out!

Hey Binkowski nice troops ;) like spyder says its gettin better and better.

But i found a little bug within the Anims of the forehand. If u switch from staying into laying down and the other way around the hand.The anim first positioned the hand on the standart place and then on the grip :s dunno how to to describe. Maybe i do some screenshots if im gettin back from work ;) anyways nice addon, keep up the good work

Thanks for mentioning that MrNothing! That's the one thing I overlooked. I knew I did. And Due, yes for some reason it's like that even in the default game. Probably a BIS thing.

so does anyone else get a weird menu screen upon loadup with this? i cant figure out why but this & the littlebirds add-on both fail for me. i get a blue/white menu screen instead of namalsk, anyone know why this woudl be?

What other addons are you running? Try running your game just with my addon and see if you still get the problem.

yep, but i just took it out of the modfolder & dropped it in with the mainfile addons, no problem now. thanks!

How about the patch for weapon fixing? Maybe your original weapon pack would be more stable.

I may make a different version where, the units all carry M16A2's. I know this isn't realistic. So don't try to pull the "OMG THAT IS NOT REALISTIC." I know this. It's simply to keep the weapons simple, for people who don't want to have the wonderful weapons that Vilas donated.
