Did you know you can talk to your team mates?

I just found out in a small scenario I made in the editor that I can actually TALK to my squad members and sometimes they'll give vital information such as they spotted an APC parked around the corner. :eek:

Remember reading something about that but I thought it would have to be built into the modules via scripts etc by the mod developer , not the game itself.

Yeah... and most other soldiers too....

A question mark appears and if you press the action button, you can ask them 3 questions: location, weather, enemies.

And ask them Weather over and over again and they'll get pissed, tried to make my squad mate so angry he shot me, but it didn't work :<

I honestly don't know.

I wasn't even aware this feature was available for use without some complex scripting.

If you don't want to use it , simply don't talk to anyone.;)

Maybe you didn't notice... but Special Forces deployed are selected also by their ability to speak the native language...

In this case, Cooper speaks chernarrussian.

If you set yourself as a captive "West" and talk to a "East" he will say: "I will only tell you my name and number" :)

Also i sneaked up on a "East" soldier in a pitch black night and tried talk to him, the response was something like: "Huh? what?"
