I can't offer much advice about budget CPUs but I know that a Radeon 7770 offers the best value video card. If you can stretch another €50, get yourself a 7850 which easily overclocks to 7870. Also I strongly recommend an SSD. 40, even 60GB will be too small but a 128GB one will allow you to comfortably install Win7-64 and CO. You can now get good quality (Crucial M4, Samsung 830) 128GB SSD for less than €100. Also don't bother with massive PSU (600+W) unless you want to run SLI. You're better off getting a smaller 400-500 PSU from a quality manufacturer (Antec, Fortron, Corsair, Seasonic) than a larger one from some less-known manufacturer. Sorry to hear about your moggy. vilas 473 Posted October 12, 2012 (edited) sorry for post under post , but as on Armaholic updates were published, i can now type changelogs: 4 updates: 1) general update of whole P85 , since previouse release (i don't count wip betas but news on Armaholic) for new year 2012 following changes were made: - cleaned RPT issues (at least majority, of course not all) - few new vehicles (mostly for fictional armies like Nogova or SLA or RACS, i cannot correctly remember which exaclty vehicles were added cause there is many of them, but BVP M80A, Unimogs, Landrover Serie III were added) - some new weapons + custom hand animations - wheels damage system (tyres etc. Arma2 feature) - separate civilian cars pack, i replaced all old poor quality models of civilian cars and reworked them totally, details here ( http://www.createforum.com/vilas/viewtopic.php?t=67&mforum=vilas ) - fixed some bugs like wrong cargo placement in LAVs etc. 2/3) West weapons pack + weaponholders (comparing to addon stage from previous release from 2011) - added multiple G36 variants, added PZF3 , added handanimations - added Latvian soldiers 4) Polish addon update (comparing to previous news from 15th of September): - fixed some issues, RPT cleaned, - added MSBS prototype, added P99D Walther pistol, added G36 with Specter, SpecterDR have 2 aiming modes, so both PL and P85 addons update are focused on cleaning RPT as i could plus fixing previous issues, links are on Armaholic news or here in first post (Armaholic FTP) Edited October 12, 2012 by vilas Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

For me, as a none maker of addons or mods for the game, and having enjoyed using soo many addons over the years made by soo many community members from here and elsewhere, and indeed sort of collecting them, its really like having the game renewed each time, therefore the game never looses its appeal. That is in great part down to the many mod/addon makers with all the islands, weapons, units, vehicles, aircraft, factions etc, etc, that keep the game fresh. I know its built upon what BIS has done and do, to support the series, but its still amazes me that there are so many gifted mod/addon makers that provide all this for free. I for one am very grateful to modders for their time, skill and work in keeping the game fresh from day one.. I have put another donation through paypal and hope your new build is either on the way, or being built. Many thanks for your mods/addons over the years.
