Vilas' work was a key feature of the early MP campaigns I made for nopryl. His models, and derivates of them, are extensively used by the community.

Vilas, I have been a big fan of your units for a long time now. Thanks for all your efforts man. Wanted to ask you if you be interested in switching your interests into civilian vehicles for a while. For some reason there is no that many around. It would be nice to have a variety of civil specialty trucks for cities that transport bread, milk, pepsi, garbage, etc

those cars will be in few skin variants (civilian + military + police + civil serving ambulance or firefighters)

of course also other mods will get them too (city-dedicated, rpg-like, Lingor, French Gendarmerie etc.)

if anyone would be interested in releasing civilian-only vehicles as standalone addon or anyone is interested in making addon containing police-like cars from other countries than addon is, please let me know,

I have not to much of free time, that's why such addon you have to prepare yourselves (reskins, config, binarization etc., i will give basic texture, MLODs , little help) so it would be up to community if you will se more CDF Militia cars or Russian, US, UK, Czech etc. police cars , I can offer Kia Cee'd, Renault Trafic, Fiat Ducato (when they will be ready),

at the moment there is only Skoda Octavia addon by Topas :)

so from me you'll get 4 civilian cars (Skoda, Kia, 2 vans, maybe another civilian reskin of existing poor Lublin) + 3 firefighter's cars (1 van, 2 trucks) + 2-3 ambulances (civilian vans),

to see German, Czech, Chernarussian police cars or something like this , other people must work,

such car would be easy too (just adding "box") ,

but because of lack of time and texture-dependances all will be packed into one Polish Army/Police file (cause I am preparing updated, for example backpacks working on soldiers, new textures for desert troops), to have such vehicles in small standalone addon, someone must help me (cause I have no time and for months I was not touching Arma at all, just last weeks I made Kiad and now starting those 2 vans)

some progress pics (shoulfd be < 100 kb as rmb shows to me), soon I will add more skins (firefighters, civilian - white Ducato, silver Opel)

need help with police lightbar animation (I have no time to learn it, I'd rather spend time on modeling + textures), can anyone help me to finally equip my addon with working police blue lights animation ? I need scripts + "know how",

also if you want other colors of civilian Kia, Octavia, Opel or Ducato, type here, I can add 2-3 civil skins for them (now there is : dark green Skoda Octavia, Kia as seen above but will be fixed to red, white Ducato, silver Vivaro)

Please, think of the poor people of Chernarus and other ArmA worlds. Not everyone there is wealthy enough to afford your new models. Please, bring back the cargo version of Żuk (pic) like the one you had back in the OFP times in your pksmzk addon ;) It would also be very nice and nostalgic if some other cars from the pack made a come-back some day (Polonez akwarium/caro, Autosan...) ;)

Nice to see you're still here Vilas! Those cars are real nice and a well needed addition to the game. Everybody makes great tanks, planes, choppers...but simple civilian vehicles?

I was playing around with your polish army addon and the variety of units and weapons is just fantastic. I'd say that there are only two points which could use improvement:

The Beryl.

The sounds as well as the handanimations don't do justice to this beautiful model. Will you improve these in the future? Maybe someone from these forums is able to help you getting them right. OR move the handgrip (where possible) a bit to better match the MK48 anim.

This infact is a problem that is present in your otherwise fantastic AK pack, look at the FSB/Alfa AKs. and speaking of which: could you add some AKs with nightvision and or thermal sights? possibly some more AK107s too please please please! :D

This very moment we're discussing with Vilas if I should do a texture pack for the new vehicles; similar to what I did with his Skoda Octavia. I have his blessing but wanted to ask if the community would be interested in having this too. Here a small example:

PS: Oh and of course I won't forget the Chernarussian law enforcement.

Law enforcement would be great. I'd support any version useful in missions. Could be cash transport, emergency, police, swat, vip transport or simple civil version.
