ok, sorry to ask this, but ive downloaded and installed caa1, now how do i use an a1 map? (if you can refer me to where in this thread its been answered great but dont dare rtft me on this man)

ive tried a couple and theyre not detected. id really love to have the waziristan map going on a2.

Check your desktop Arma2.exe target looks like this : "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2.exe" -mod=x\oac\oac_core;x\caa1 + check your Arma2 mainfolder contain a file named x containing 2 folders named caa1 (2.72 GB) and oac (22.6 MB). then launch arma2 mission editor, you should find the maps.

I just grabbed this today, works perfectly and also with avgani / afgan village thrown in too, perfect :)

I ended up putting all pbo's into \@caa1\addons path for me.

Razani works well as well. Just downloaded, placed into \@caa1\addons and it worked perfect. Thanks for this!

im an idiot and didnt see the play with caa1 link on my desktop :D

even has a separate link for the beta patch automatically.

everything works great, this is a brilliant mod. thanks to all responsible.

Hi my friend,i have istalled Caa1 and i have put the Arma 1 campaign in a create folder,in the main directory of Arma 2,but when i start the campaign i received this error message:

Config: some imput after EndOFile

And then it returns to windows...

Please hel me...

Ok, basically Arma/Operation Flashpoint campaigns/missions needs more or less some modifications to be playable in Arma2. So you can't put Arma1 campaign into your Arma2 campaigns folder and expect it will work.

I am getting this now too. Hmm... It has to be one of the arma1 missions I copied over. KJU would this happen because of a bad mission pbo?

Mikero has thankfully released a tool that can set the requiredVersion of an addon to 1.0

without the hassle to unpack, modify and repack:

SetVersion

(you need the dll in the same folder)

cannot load texture ca\character\data p-officer_hhl_as.paa.

Unfortunately I get these errors in almost every mission, even in the main campaign. Is this a mission error or a CAA1 error? Not too sure at this point.

It's usually this error or something similiar, but it's usually a character loading error. Then straight to desktop.

Last few time times it happened, I was usually on a helo.

hey, i had this before when it was first released but i accidently deleted the folder while i was sorting out some mods, anyways, i dont really feel like downloading the whole thing again, and i only want to be able to play razani, afgan village and avgani, so what files do i need from the server to be able to get these maps working properly again? can anyone help me out with this?

buildings,misc,roads,rocks,plants - try those as a start.

The roads are known and seems possible to resolve. I assume one has to binarize it with the new tools again.

I assume you need it unbinarized first then?

No word so far world editors how they did solve it. You guys could bug them. ;)

Binarizing them again is doable, yet quite some effort.

I just installed my new computer, need to do some arma2 testing first. I will later on install all programs again and I could try.

Anyone now anything about this that can help me? I guess its not only to unPbo and re-pbo and binarize them again?

You need to use mikero's convertWRP to get a 8WVR WRP file first.

Also you need to have a working P setup ofcourse.

This includes CAA1 unpacked (like world textures and all used objects).

using addonsync,it's doesn't check the current checksum that i was installed already,it just redownloaded and compare with local checksum,lol another 4 hours for 2 gb redownloading :(,please use old update method in rar files
