Shoot2Kill 10 Posted August 17, 2009 (edited) Im new to arma, and love it, but i dont think my pc is giving everthing it has and its lagging me ingame. PC specs: Card- Nvidia 9600 GT OC 512 MB CPU- Intel duo core 2.4 ghz Memory- 2Gb I run the game with mostly medium and low settings but still get large lagg, it would help if anyone knows what i should be running at, and if anyone knows how 2 update bios it might help 2. I also have the latest drivers for my card. Edited August 17, 2009 by Shoot2Kill More info

Texture = V high memory = Default Ani Filter = V high AA = Off Terrain= Low object detail = v Low Shadows = Off Post pro = Off I defrag my Hd regularly aswell I play in 1280 x 1024 res Edited August 17, 2009 by Physikz Oops
H-street 10 Posted August 17, 2009 what are your current settings on each one? Just my recommendations Starting at the top What resolution are you running at? Visibility: 900 Interface and 3d resolution: 1024x768 or 1280x1024 texture detail medium video memory: medium anistropic filter: off antialiasing: off terrain detail: medium (or low) objects detail: medium shadow detail: off post processing: off as far as the bios update goes, don't do it. unless your computer is having major issues i wouldn't touch the bios. The bios itself definately won't help, its not like updating a driver ..
