Good day all :)

BIS release tools , and that means that I am again working hard

One of the most beautiful islands for the Arma-1 - Comes back

I will post here results of the work

On island there are no trees, because BIS not yet release MLOD models.

Don't worry about your English SenChi, a picture is worth a thousand words anyway mate! An island is worth a million!

This actually looks great without trees - Maybe some dead ones or thin birch trees.

 Of course I can not release it without the trees!

Trees will be on the island, anyway. :)

I can not release naked and ugly land

Look here, this is old theme.

I didn't suggest you to release it without trees - Only that it looks good without them. Many islands (and alot of mainland) near the arctic or antarctic circles look kindof like this, completly devoid of anything but the occassional thin and short tree, grass and shrubs. Trees cannot really grow because of the cold and the harsh wind. For instance the Falkland islands, Siberian tundra and so on and so forth. I understand that you want to have trees, but in many respects this island would look more "realistic" without them. Anyway, good job!

Radioactive forest WIP :)

Red Pine, this is a temporary port of Arma-1 (They are ugly), I replace them with new Red Pine from Arma-2, after the release MLOD-models.

Why do you need MLODs?

where is the problem? @floosy: use arma 1.03 and offical a2 toolsuit. There was never a need for sample models to build islands...... even with a1 toolsuite :)

I don't know anything about island-making, but SgtAce said that you don't need MLODs (and he already showed us screenshots and video with Arma2 trees on his Everon island).

Because I can not use the standard trees:) Like the standard BIS objects.

I will do retexture. :)

Because the style of my mod is postapocalypse, not present :)

Well that looks like a very handy tool indeed! Only one problem would be the lose of LODs. Besides that.. great find! Hope to see some lovely snowy trees from you then ;)

I just realized, but I think ACU's might actually blend in here. Great work on the buildings SenChi.
