Vraiment un beau boulot Gonza, j'ai hate d'avoir la prochaine version avec l'editeur 3D et la compatibilité avec le SLX :)

Really good work Gonza, i am impatient to have the next version with the 3D editor and the compatibily with SLX

Alpha6 out

with 3D placement !!!

need some improvement but it is easy to use (add 2 speeds levels,add buttons,move Objects...)

3D placement help :

in the real-time windows

chose a unit and click on the button "3D", click on the map the unit appear in 3D

W/S = move forward/rear

D/A = Turn right/left

C/X = Move UP/DOWN

Space bar = Check placement

Esc = valid

added last version of revive script (from Norrin)

fraps don't want to work so next time for the video

be careful if you use 3D placement with mini-missions (Take,destroy,hostage,target)

don't put this objective on a wrong place

for example , on the "take" mini-mission, don't put the flag over a house because players will never be able to catch the flag because they will be too far

I have not done much testing so be indulgent

This looks great! I hate to be that one who buys a new car then asks ... umm how do you start it?!

How do you use it? I did not see a readme file aside from placing it in MP games folder.

Any explanation is highly appreciated.

Installation:

Place the pbo(s) file(s) in your ArmA2\MPMissions folder.

Thanks gonza for your response. I have placed pbo in MP folder .. what is next? How doyou access editor?

I guess in normal editor you just go to editor. How do you access this editor?

start a MP server and chose the VTS mission

Thanks for your response gonza. I did go to MP game and I think I got how it works .. only thing I keep getting error saying: " Variable display does not support serialisation. Call disable serialisation in the current script" That happens when I select "ordinatuer.

this error message appear only one time for the rest of the mission (if someone know how to remove it) and have no effect

to know how it work you can look at the VTS2 tutorials

or you can wait my tutorial (end of this week end)

hi gonza,

tested your 3D and it is marvellous :D.

I was guessing if it was possible to extend the same 3D placement even to the players instant trasport. That would be interesting sometimes if you want to place a sniper over a building hard to reach or players over the flight carrier ;)

I have planed to use 3D teleport only for Game master but why not

added a real-time marker system (master can see all unites on the map) (based on spectating script marker system)

Very impressive. i'm happy to see my work adapted for arma 2 with plenty of new features: you've done an amazing job.

However, as we recently spoke about, do you plan to put the opfor side playable again, as it was in vts/vts2, in coop? It could be fun to make some opfor missions too.

Possibility to place Objects (buildings, sandbags walls , fortifications, destroyer ...)

Put the same unit without exiting the 3D interface (really cool to create a little camp really quickly for example)

- Evac Chopper fixed

- real-time marker system (master can see all unites on the map) (based on spectating script marker system) (really useful)

- added a 3D Flying camera

- many fixs

Looks impressive. Well done gonza!

One thing I dont understand though.

Why aren't you guys, you, Grimm and i0n0s, form a team and merge all your work to one

project - the core functionality is the same for all or not?

I think that VTS3 is really different than VTS FIGHT EXTENTION

but I thing that this too versions would be really interesting to play

I have Grimm in my Msn contact list and we chat a lot of time about projects

what ionos project do you speak about ?
