d3nn16 3 Posted August 14, 2009 (edited) Before patch 1.03 I used the evasive forward key to do one special move which is side leap. After patch 1.03 it didn't work anymore but instead I accidentally pressed the new key combination. After a few tries I discovered the keys combination (although it seems there are more). Toggle in walk mode, keep "move left" key down. In a second or so press "move forward", release "move left", push "move right", release "move forward", release "move right". Your soldier should do a right side leap. You have to press and release forward key almost instantly and the left and right key a bit more time It also happens in sprint mode but it is too difficult to reproduce. I wasn't able to reproduce a left side leap although I think I noticed it when accidentally pressing the combination. Anyone knows more about this ? d3nn16 3 Posted August 14, 2009 Ok let me explain the combination again and use walk mode ---[F] [L]---[R] ---[F] [L]---[R] ---[F] [L]---[R] ---[F] [L]---[R] ---[F] [L]---[R] ---[F] [L]---[R] try different timings not too fast and not too slow ---------- Post added at 05:52 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:09 PM ---------- I found out by looking at the ArmA profile file this : keyEvasiveBack[]={}; I didn't see any action in Controls menu corresponding to this so I copied another key code in the brackets. It does something similar to side leap but backwards.

NeMeSiS 11 Posted August 14, 2009 ok let me explain the combination again and use walk mode---[f] [l]---[r] ---[f] [l]---[r] ---[f] [l]---[r] ---[f] [l]---[r] ---[f] [l]---[r] ---[f] [l]---[r] try different timings not too fast and not too slow FATALITY! *Small letters here so the forums doesnt mess up my all caps post*
d3nn16 3 Posted August 14, 2009 Found the left side leap combo : ---[F] [L]---[R] ---[F] [L]---[R] ---[F] [L]---[R] ---[F] [L]---[R] ---[F] [L]---[R] ---[F] [L]---[R] It's the same timing as for right side leap, imagine [L] became [F], [F] became [R] and [R] became [L] This makes me think of a rotation to the right, hmm maybe if I rotate again I could find some other animation :D ---------- Post added at 07:34 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:33 PM ---------- ANd for left side leap use sprint mode
