I'm not sure about 1:31, I presume they're an allied takistani force (a bit like the independent faction) or some more footage of czech :p

Can't wait!

Pretty sure those are meant to be Czech SF with M60E4s and Bushmaster M4A3s

Yes, you can even see the player holding a modified version of the Vz.58 for a brief time at 1:35.

All this ingame footage looks beautiful but I really really [repeated 1000 times] hope that it'll be optimised enough to be playable on hardware which will be available at the time of release :p if not even current hardware

That was a great trailer thanks BIS.

Glad to hear about the guided missle mechanics getting some realistic changes, Javelin being my main complaint.

I would've liked to hear the new sound engine but im sure its too soon to have all of that already implemented.

German units??? Sounds interesting.

BIS can we expect some major AI improvements, and new additions since this game will be focused on close quarters?

it looks cheap to me...German soldiers that walk through Takistan... or whatever it's called :D

So I guess nothing they can do else overthere..walk, no drive or fly :rolleyes:

The main force should had been british or the Germans in the first place...now were stucked again with the usa units.

As targets they are fine to me...but in a game in a campaign or online.....BORRRRRRRIIIIING

BIS, may I be sold bold as to ask if shooting out of moving vehicles ( aerial , sea or land based ) was considered for this expansion ?

Great trailer, a lot of exciting stuff :D

I suggest you to put some captions (no sure about the word) on the vid when that AH-6X is taking off. People on Youtube are the laziest people on the planet and they don't bother reading the description, so they keep saying :

lol, no pilot in the chopper

some even think they saw something nobody saw

lol at the distinct lack of LB pilot at 1:16 onwards!

You do want you want, but there's many fanboy out there (from other games) and I'm sure their already debating in their respectives forums about the bug in the last BIS trailer

Right, so just because they were shown patrolling in the video means they won't get to do anything else. In that case I presume we can look forward to the Czechs hosting an offroad rally - they were shown driving a Land Rover offroad after all.

Makes perfect sense to me :p

I dont think its a good trailer

all we saw was some troops walking down the road, tells you alot about Arma's more walking than shooting style

hardly saw any game play, any shooting, any battles,

but I guess the trailer was more about showing the map/atmosphere/environment, than actual gameplay

still have to wait and see

Great trailer and thanks alot for answering some questions. Can't wait for this to hold this in my hands.:yay:

Will be better in Arrowhead by introducing "weapon lock delay" so the advanced guidance systems will neeed some time to get lock for player and also AI.

What sort of weapons/vehicles will have this system? I mean, most missiles (Portable AT/AA and aircraft weapons) and Anti-Air systems have some sort of lock-on delay (I'm thinking of Tunguska/Shilka/Avenger)

Totally agree ... i´m boring to play ALWAYS with the yanks ... in all the games we also fight with the US Army, USMC, USBarneythedino, etc .... BI´s you are from Czech, c´mon .... give a chance to the EU forces: France, UK, Germany, Spain, Italy,etc.

And if the UN will be there...well, we will need the Canadians, Argentineans, Brazilians, etc.

The world is big enough....not only the US forces....they bore.

Awww there goes my final countdown rebuttle.

Anyway more factions=more happy people and the ability to play as more NATO than just the US= even more happy people.

Now the 2 questions that everyone should ask before even thinking about buying another BIS product: will OA be the bugfest that A2 was when it was released ? Will OA be better optimized than current A2 version ?
