I've flown around a fair bit - I have to say that (Misty Mountain?) peak at the far North seems to be a perfect place for a nice hill assault user mission.

Has anyone else found any gorgeous / interesting / scenario worthy locations they wouldn't mind sharing pics of (with grid refs of course...!)

There's a ruined town south of Stary Sobor (I think). Has anyone stumbled upon it? You can find it by taking the chopper in Razor Two from the helipad towards the northernmost camp.

Even nice mountain roads with great views are fantastic for mini ambush missions.

I found a great windy road up north and set an enemy convoy up towards my position.

Could it be Kumyrna? It's south of Guglovo and west of Pass Oreshka/Staroye.

I think thats the one he is talking about. I stumbled across that in the demo. Nice place. It reminds me of the town on Kolgujev in its intro movie in OFP.

Another place not often visited is around the Blunt Rocks and Black Lake, NE of the map. Its Beautiful! Can just imagine the rock climbers and young couples in love visiting the area...

My favorite places are little ponds/lakes hidden away.

The best one by far is the small one just a tiny bit west of Old Fields.

It has a jetty and best of all, it is far more secluded than any other lake/pond.

Being away from any main roads or towns is also good. Gives you that sense of seclusion.

What's best is to pitch a small camping tent by the water on some flat turf and have a campfire burning. For OFP a camping addon was released, called CampPack. It had everything a camper could want - even racks of fish and pots that could be hung over fires.
