Sahrani Evolution!

is this the bug where you get millions of tomahawks coming in? i took offthe script function from the spotter hopingto resolve it. did it? or is it still a conflict?

on the water patrol - i have askedthe modding community/ patch thread for an armed russian boat...

meanwhile you get an RHIB and its spawned as a green/friendly which cant seem to be helped....

The Tomahawk bug/feature - depending on how you look at it ;) - is when you open the map>click Tomahawk a couple of times>then click location. It then rains hell at a count of the clicks you made. It also seems like the marker is one step behind each time you use the Tomahawk.

When I said "Ranks are bypassed" in the prev. post I meant to say "Unlocked Ranks".

Also the first time you open the "T" menu you get a box saying "Variable 'displayvendor' does not support serialization and should not be stored in the mission namespace."

UPDATE:

For some reason the MHQ marker stopped following the MHQ after Somoto. I didn't see any errors and really didn't notice it for a while, but the marker stayed between the boobs N of Somoto. When I respawned it put me there to.

the pilotkill script causes the zero divisor error if the units are already dead. I can't work out how to stop it and it doesnt seem too critical...

the spetz scrip zerodivisor is causeds when the units fail to spawn - this more often happens when you run it on your own machine ratherthan a dedi-box. it sometimes happens with the first spawn ofthe spetsnaz but goes away after. again not really a big issue.

I don't get this error and nor do any of my teammates - are you running ACE by any chance?

This is on a dedi server. The mods are "@cba;@caa1" on the dedi and "@CBA;x\caa1;x\oac\oac_core" on my game comp. I put everything into one folder "@caa1/addons" on the dedi server.

You think some errors are because of CBA? I could remove those caa1 addons that require CBA. I think its a special A10 and Camel I forget, but its like a couple files. I'll try that tonight.

EDIT: I think CBA is only needed for the "caa1\ArmA_VehicleFeatures" folder

we play with caa1 files from the CAA1 FULL CLASSIC PLANTS server and the OAC_CORE on the server I think and same on client (+ other mods clientside). The cba is also on there i think - I'll have to check the list.

I do know that the UH60 and the M113 addon files are included on our server, and it has a hotfix file. it doesn't have the camel or the AH6 addons on our server.

Couple questions.

what's the mod line on your server? Also are you using sig check?

I'm looking at the "CAA1 - Full ClassicPlants - YASDLS" on Addon Sync 2009 BETA and it does have the ah6 and camel in it. Is that the wrong addon server?

UPDATE 3 Since update 1 and 2 are confusing as heck ;): My addon/dedicated server is out there so I'll try and figure it out separately. But so far other than the minor errors mentioned before it's looking good. I think the only major thing needing work is the Tomahawk script.

yeah ive taken the tomahawk off on most of the missions now cos of the bug/ conflict.

we don't play on a sign-checking server.

our server command line for sahrani is

- featuring balanced split of desert and woodland camo versions of vehicles, weapons, aircraft and soldiers.

Incorporates a lot of mods - will put up a mod list and a link in next few days.

running like hell on earth atm on our server.

the dune buggies and british desert camo troops and M4 with underslung shotgun taking on BMD's and mi28's etc - a good mash up of heavy stuff...
