SpaceAlex 0 Posted March 17, 2002 Try to put one satchel under the tank. T80 tank would be the best. Detonate the bombs. Now watch the tank carefully. You'll see that it's smashed one second before the explosion. This is v1.46 bug.
Placebo 29 Posted March 17, 2002 Isn't that simply the tank "brewing" up?
WKK Gimbal 0 Posted March 17, 2002 Nah... A satchel is actually a remote controlled gun, firing a heavy bullet up into the tank. The explosion 1 sec after is just added eyecandy (a flashbang), because engineers complained about the clean kill of the bullet.
Placebo 29 Posted March 17, 2002 Well a satchel or tank shell would pierce the armour of a tank but it wouldn't necessarily cause the fuel and ammo to explode at the exact same instant?
DodgeME 0 Posted March 17, 2002 Seen this with laws and rgp from older versions, too. They vehicles tend to get destoryed even before the rgp or law gets to them.
SpaceAlex 0 Posted March 18, 2002 You guys have missed my point. Why don't u try to put a satchel under the tank and you'll see what i mean. T80 or any other tank will be smashed first and after that you'll see the explosion. dodgeME: That's another bug which should be fixed too.

ALDEGA 0 Posted April 4, 2002 Quit bumping please And you don't even have to create your own mission. Just watch the credits animation. (goto options window, then press credits). At some point a couple of T72's will be driving over mines, thus exploding. However, the fourth T72 never drives over a mine. Instead it's like "setdamage" command is used to make it explode. It doesn't explode straightaway, but first 'turns black'. A second later it will explode. btw your sig is soooo out of date ;-)
Greg 0 Posted April 5, 2002 I have noticed this as well, with 1.46. The syncronisatin of 'wreck' and explosion effect used to be much better.
hbk 0 Posted April 5, 2002 Noticed this already We'll have to wait until the next patch Anyway this is no major bug as it do not influence gameplay BTW i am used to test any new version with this end sequence, it can be very interesting

I didn't create my own mission. I just put a tank and one soldier on the map in the mission editor. That's all. Better than credits.:) You can test more things in the mission editor. ALDEGA 0 Posted April 6, 2002 I seriously hope you are not implying anything like "I don't like the credits sequence"
