alan.rio 15 Posted July 23, 2009 Its specific to the mission, you earn points by getting kills, repairing, reviving etc. It does not carry over from mission to mission, or sever to server. Once the mission ends or the server restarts and new mission all ranking is lost. however for some missions, if you leave the server, and return later when the same mission is still running (without restart) you may have retained your ranking, the mission remembers you. the only purpose of the ranking is to make sure that the people who get to use the unlocked tanks and planes etc. are the people who have earned them, and not people who join a mission several hours in and just take assets that are meant for others. It also serves to restrict usage to players who will most likely be able to handle the assets effectively, a brand new player will not yet be able to achieve the ranking to get that A10 because he is not yet good enough, the reasoning behind that one is the if he''s not good enough to get the ranking he'll probably just crash the jet.
