Punisher5555 0 Posted June 28, 2010 This site here gives you the basic dimensions of a OH-58D (I). All you need to do is change it to a ® by adding/changing the air intake (which I see you did) and adding the uwp's and ALQ-144 (you have sitting too far back). http://www.inetres.com/gp/military/ar/rotor/OH-58D.html You can also get the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior Walk Around No.50 book by Floyd S. Werner Jr. at http://www.squadronsignalpublications.com .
PuFu 4599 Posted June 28, 2010 ]http://pufu.kellys-heroes.eu/kiowa/kiwo_wip_sml.jpg by Pufu I hope you realize that the image you posted has nothing to do with this thread, and that there is a purpose i have posted in wip thread..my model is a model D, being built from ground up Next time i would suggest linking to bis thread where the original post was made @punisher: The pic there does not reflect the curent state of the model anymore.. Noticed that i somehow mistakenly moved the alq back just after i posted that pic. It has been fixed, as well as the main rotor size and proportions. Cheers for the links though. Might come in handy Working on weapon pods -replacing the gun with the new fn m3p, as well as adding aditional detail to the tail rotor. Sorry for highjacking this thread. eble 3 Posted July 4, 2010 (edited) How odd that someone would hijack my addons thread like that, nevermind I guess. (not aimed at Pufu btw) Here is a quick fix for those that are running OA only, the existing addon uses A2 naming so would work for OA only users who also have A2 This version has OA names only and is for people with OA only. http://www.filefront.com/16955079/OH58%20-%20OA%20Fix%20V1.0.rar Edited July 4, 2010 by Eble

Griffin64 0 Posted July 4, 2010 I can't seem to install this for OA. I created an @oh58 folder in my steam's OA folder. I then extracted the oh58.pbo into that folder and added @oh58 to my launch properties. It still doesn't want to work though. Anyone have any tips? I am using the http://www.filefront.com/16955079/OH...Fix%20V1.0.rar that was just posted above me.

Griffin64 0 Posted July 4, 2010 Is there an 'Addons' folder inside the @OH58 folder? That's required. Alright I just changed that and now it seems to be working when I look in the editor under "empty/air". So every time I use an addon I have to create an "Addons" folder withing the "@folder"? manzilla 1 Posted July 5, 2010 (edited) Thanks southy but I'm a bit confused by the 2 versions. The A2/OA version doesn't have this stuff integrated yet, correct? Only the OA only version? Also, is this OA-only version only for people that don't have A2 installed? I understand it only works in OA but how about if I play it in OA but I have A2 installed as well? This is what confuses about the separate versions. I see this but I'm still a bit confused: If you have both Arma 2 and Arma 2 : OA you can use the Arma 2 version. Since I have both installed I see I "can" use it, but does that mean that I have to use the A2/OA version if I'm only playing OA but have A2 installed as well. I'm really only playing OA at this point. Sorry. Just a bit slow this morning. Edited July 5, 2010 by Manzilla

This addon feeds from both the A2 and OA content, that being said if you have OA only some of the sounds may not work as the naming structures have changed. This was a quick and dirty fix for those that wanted an addon with FLIR equiped. Once the dust settles a bit better I'll redo the config. Southy
