B.I.A Mission SC30 TvT (teamplay)

Pitch :

to be simple this mission sound like battlefield 2 missions type with some features to make the game more tactique and improve teamplay

the biggest gameplay difference between BF2 is that you must take sectors by order (so it create a front-line) and you can not respawn on sectors (replaced by a respawn vehicle)

in this mission you must capture 4 sector in order

you can respawn on your leader , in a respawn vehicle or at base

you can play with AI or not

for exemple 6 player could take a team leader slot and control IA (IA will respawn on leader)

it great to learn IA control

Objective :

4 points to capture By order (it create a front-line)

Teams :

mission TvT 15 vs 15

2 sides (RU/US)

3 teams of 5 members per side

team composition : 1 leader,1 medic,2 AT,1 MG

weapons limited to increase middle range and close combat (M16/AK107,M136/RPG18,M240/PKM,M16acog/AK107PSO)

Vehicles by side : (you can chose to play in infantry only at the start of the mission) :

There is a vehicle respawn system

1 respawn vehicle

1 tank

1 car MG

1 transport chopper

How to Win :

you win 1 point by sector / 10 sec

to win you must have more point than the other side at this end of the mission

Respawn System :

when you die you must choose one of this 3 possibility

1 - you can respawn on your leader if alive

2 - you can respawn in the repawn vehicle

3 - you can respawn at you base (start base)

we have tried it with 15 players without any problem

I don't know how good of an idea it is to totally restrict weapons. If for example people want sniper rifles, then it's probably because the mission you made requires sniper rifles, and keeping them out is wrong. If your mission is designed for close combat etc, then people will naturally not pick sniper rifles.

Did you include loadout saving so you don't have to re-pick weapons every time?

this mission was played a lot off time on amra 1

and before weapon restriction every body took a sniper rifles because in arma sniper rifles are realy strong for this type of mission

no because it is the soldier class who give to you the type of weapon

It's not sniper rifles being overpowered, it's assault rifles being underpowered. Right now hitting (or even seeing!) someone at 200-300m without magnification is unrealistically way too hard.

Sounds nearly perfect gonza. Does the mission end when one side has all four objectives? I would suggest that it's not much fun to try and claw back from such a setback.

no because the last point is near the base (vehicle/weapons) so normaly it will be easy to defende/take it for the side who is losing

and I like to let possibility to player to won the mission at the last minute (in our tests there was a lot of reverse situation (a lot of time, team who lose during a long time finally won the mission))

in a future version I will add medic revive system
