todayskiller 10 Posted July 15, 2009 Ok, I know the game came out on steam and amazon...but I personally Don't like buying online...So I'm waiting for it to come out in stores, but best buy said it is unavailable...not in stores :(. Today I had my friend at Best Buy look it up in their system and they didn't even have any incoming shipments. I'm just going to order online, you should probably do the same or risk waiting forever. Neither the devs, nor the mods, nor BIS are really going to tell you anything (aside from "it's all good, all is well, everything is fine, soon, right on track, any day now"). It's their job to say that now (it's out of their hands).... Got Game are the only ones who could answer the question. They were contracted to distribute in the US. They placed an order for a billion CDs. Some company in China stamped them out and boxed them up. They were loaded into a shipping container. It had to cross the Pacific. Then clear customs. Then go to a distribution warehouse. Then get boxed up to be sent to the retailers. Who will fill the orders and put the boxes on the shelves. What step in the process are they on? All we know for sure is that they have not reached that last important step yet. A BIS representitive could come in here and tell you "tomorrow" will be the day. Or they could tell you "June 26, June 30, July 7, late in the week of the 7th, this week, next week, the 20th, the week of the 20th" etc. They have.
