Shakermaker 10 Posted July 13, 2009 I fired up the editor to try and paradrop some troops from a C-130. I spawned the plane together with 20 regular riflemen. Getting them in wasn't a problem. Getting them out again was. During flight I couldn't find an eject order for my soldiers and telling them to disembark did nothing either. I tried slowing down and changing my height but that didn't change anything. I landed the C-130 and back on the ground my men wouldn't get out until the engines had come to a full stop and even then they took their time. When they finally appeared a massacre ensued. Some bug caused them to horribly hurt themselves while exiting the plane. I lost almost half of my riflemen. Long story short: did I do something wrong or isn't it possible to paradrop NPC soldiers from a C-130?
THEBLITZ6794 10 Posted July 13, 2009 they jumped out and landed on each other and created a piller of men. it immediately disapears because they fell off. the top 10 were too high...
jakerod 254 Posted July 13, 2009 Once you select them hit 6 and then there should be an eject option. If you select them all at once and tell them all to eject at the same time they will all jump at the same time and probably kill each other. So I would select one after the other. manberries 0 Posted July 14, 2009 You could set up a waypoint and use the moveOut command if you dont mind a bit of scripting.
