Sneaky5150 10 Posted July 8, 2009 In Arma, if you died but had another playable team member, you could switch to that player. I see the menu to switch when I die, but can't pull up the menu to choose a team member to switch to. Anyone else have this problem? Or, can one now only switch while alive? mr_centipede 1 Posted July 8, 2009 while you're still alive, you can press 'T' to teamswitch.

Thought I was taking crazy pills. I hope to god that's a bug, coolest thing about Arma was selecting another squad member and getting payback. Nothing new for games coming out buggy, we're all beta testers now.
eirulan 10 Posted July 8, 2009 I found that from the mission "Badlands" and "Dogs of War" you cannot team switch. Is this a bug or not?
Big Dawg KS 5 Posted July 8, 2009 Thanks for responding. Thought I was taking crazy pills. You still have some of those pills? :D Good to know this is a known bug though, cause I was wondering if it was just me.
galzohar 28 Posted July 8, 2009 Team switching seems to be fine when alive, but bugged when dead (used to work in older versions). This really ruins single player large scale missions that are built around the fact that you will have combat casualties. Being forced to keep yourself alive in order for the mission to be possible to complete makes it impossible to have a realistic mission where if you die the mission continues, and you have a good chance of dying even if you play perfect simply because it's a realistically tough battle.
