Not for me.

q9550 @ 3.4Ghz

4Gb DDR2 800

GTX295

But with adjustments in de config, player profile and control panel, I manage to play the game (campaign that is) between 25 (city levels)-50 fps. And that is playable without frustration.

But again, the beta driver does not increase performance on my PC. The beta-driver is mainly focussed on bug fixes and Cuda platform 2.3.

I went from 20-30fps to 30-40 (20-30 in built up areas)

I'm getting less BSOD but more CTD lol, just can't bloody win with this game can we?

ok got it to work, but had to limit my RAM in msconfig boot to 6000mb.... however ill likely revert back to 182.50 drivers as it runs arma 2 exactly the same but with full 8GB. as i have 8Gb installed an dont wanna b limiting it just cos a game/drivers wont fully support it. but i find it weird the older drivers accept the 8GB of RAM but the new ones dont.. only good thing about BETA ones with RAm cut 2 6Gb is that in my config the VRAM has gone from 9 digits to 10 digits

used beat drivers and had 15 frames on carrier with no textures on anything!

Get driver cab cleaner, uninstall drivers reboot safe mode, Run driver cab cleaner and remove nvidia, Reboot and run install of beta drivers.

New beta's seem to be better in towns for me.

The 190.38 drivers are fantastic with easily a 15 frame per second improvement for me (specs in sig). Very, very impressed.

Does it solve some of these damn CTD errors tho?

Or are we still having to wait for a patch from Bohemia?

Hi, seen all the very helpful suggestions.

However all the patch upgrades (particularly the SLI ones) apply to the non notebook versions like the 9800 GT.

What can I do if i have 2x 9800M GT?

The patches/upgrades dont seem to apply (as the nvidia drivers are different in the first place)

Thanks in advance

Dan

no change have tried all drivers, changed card to 285gtx have run it in both win 7 and vista 64 ult. editions.

used all of the switches, now tonight going bare blow all drivers out, revert cpu overclock from 3.6 to 3.0, remove slight memory overclock and run in both to see.

when its not crashing on a save it runs at around 34fps with high to very high with 260 gtx and very high with 2200m distance at 39fps with 285gtx.

current driver is 186.18 for both editions this is a similar error that happened with GTAIV and ARMA 1.

And I think the 190 driver is still 185 version which will make it suk
