Samsung Syncmaster 1680x1050 LCD My system is very similar with yours Vista 32 Bit Home Premium SP2 Nvidia 9600GT 512MB 186.18 drivers Core 2 duo E6400 @ 2.13 GHz (Not overclocked) MSI MS 7318 Motherboard 2GB Kingston DDR2 6400 Default medion case, everything cooled pretty well Default Medion screen, 1280x1024 LCD I've got everything maxed out completely, I think I'd have to set somethings different to achieve higher performance. I'm now getting 23FPS in the benchmark test, which is quite reasonable for my system specifications in my opinion.

Samsung Syncmaster 1680x1050 LCD Normally is mostly application controled. Single screen performance mode (forget exact wording) And I use 0 for pre-render frames for just about all games regardless of the GPU card. That all said, running 1680+ or so with your hardware, I would not be hoping to set many if any of the options in Arma 2 to anything above normal. Both the CPU and GPU are pretty limited. aphex187 10 Posted June 26, 2009 (edited) Thx for the replies guys, i am actually thinking of upgrading to this: Asus P5Q Pro board IC2 Q6700 Zotac Geforce 260GTX 4GB OCZ Platinum XTC Atm cash is not available for another 2month so getting as much performance out of this piece of junk is what i'll have to do in the mean time hehe! *edit can't seem to find that single screen performance mode? GieskeBon 10 Posted June 26, 2009 Running a: Core Duo E6850 @ 3.0Ghz 1333 Mhz 4GB HyperX 1066Mhz DDR2 8800GT 512 MB (overclocked) SLi DDR 3 All software upgraded (Evga tested) and running in Vista or XP (dual boot). In Arma2 I put everything on low and no shadows, resolution 1280x768 and my max fps was 35 fps (was facing down towards ground lol).

Cpt.Goose 10 Posted June 26, 2009 How is the performance so erratic??? We have people with lower ssystem specs getting decent performance and we have similar machines getting crap and we have dream machines getting maxed out setting running smooth to dream machine not so dreamy, running this game poorly... how does a game have so much random results? E6600, 4 GB of ram and 8800 GTX 768 MB. The one thing that improved performance so far was rolling back nvidia drivers to 182.06, it was a big diference but its still not enough.. I pushed everything to the max, including 3d resolution and it looked good, but the idea is to have fps, not spf..
