conversation with civilians

Recommended Posts

Approach them and choose a menu option such as "Greeting (in the language of your character)", "targets", "weather", "location".

Some civilians answer in English, some won't respoond at all, others may say something in Chernarusssian. You can also talk to soldiers, if you like.

It's not fade. Some civilians will talk others won't. Can you talk yo your army buddies? Does it prompt a "conversation icon"?

Does talking to civilians require a special game logic on the mission or is it always on?

It's always on. You can even talk to enemies (when they are surrendered) I checked it in DEMO editor.

I wish you had to lower your weapon to be able to talk. It's a really irritating bit of floating text in an otherwise clean environment.
