How to disable HUD?

I just wondering if you can disable the HUD for capturing video and image purposes. Is there any specific way on how to do that?

anyone? created a description.ext file and put in showHUD = false; but it does nothing.

For video and image capture you're probably best of using the camera script.

this exec "camera.sqs";

- put this in a unit's initialization line in editor

i'm using mr. editor for that, nice to know though.

i only have two files, my mission and the description.ext i created, which is blank. i'm trying to film from an airplane, any way to remove at least some of the huds while still being able to fly?

this is a picture I just took when I had disable everything in the options, only thing is that I see my magazines when Im reloading.

I put that in a radio trigger so I can turn the camera on and off when I want.

use "this hideobject true" in the init line of the plane. Best off to use "player moveindriver this" aswell and set the plane to flying. The plane will be invisible, but you will still be able to fly it. Problem is that the top screen hud will be visible.

Does setting difficulty for arma2 to Expert not fix that?

doesnt remove the top hud in an airplane, where it says speed and altitude, the radar and the weapons and ammo box.

so there is no way? not nice trying to film in a c47 skytrain having huds, it doesnt look too good. fail.
