neilwb23 10 Posted June 24, 2009 I'm having some really bad CTD and performance issues at the moment, which is a crying shame considering I'm using a high-end rig. My specs are: i7 920-2.6ghz Asus x58 motherboard GTX260 6gb DDR3 Ram 700w power supply I'm aware that i7s and 2xx cards don't seem to go well with Arma 2 (and I'd really appreciate some optimisation, especially considering people with lesser rigs are getting flying performance, and I'm barely hitting 25fps), but aside from spotty performance I've had really bad problems with crashes. Mainly after about 15 minutes of play, the graphics go apeshit and I crash to desktop without any error. My temperatures are fine from what I can tell and my PC can murder games like Crysis and World in Conflict. I've updated all my drivers, and the problems persist whatever settings I use. Cobalt_UK 0 Posted June 24, 2009 You can try inserting -maxmem=2047 in the target line of the arma2.exe. Since i've included that in my exe, i don't tend to be crashing to desktop as much (touch wood). It's all hit and miss though at the moment, so it might work, might not. Worth a try though. Also try forcing vertical sync off in the nvidia control panel.
