Some very special videos for you guys:

All Videos are from our last saturdays MCC Realscerne Event where we aim to make scenarios as realistic as possible.

Whats so special about those Videos:

Video 1

Our Outpost was attacked by insurgents and we had to defend it.

Watch how tracers fly from Peak to peak on their deadly way. (Clafghan is really awesome)

Using JSRS 1.4 Beta makes the firefight sound frightening real.

Video 1 was recorded by me

GXd9bNG0Q1k

Video 2

Our Task during the second part of the event was to escort two humanitarian aid workers and their bodyguard to a village where they wanted to speak with the elder.

It was a TRAP! The bodyguard was killed and the VIPs have been kidnapped (the "saving" of the hostages can be seen in the next video)

Recorded by Odium (The Bodyguard).

Video 3 "The Outtakes" is also recorded by Odium and features some really hillarious stuff.

Berliner trying to fly without his Joystick

Gamemaster Donny spawning a helicopter with wrong IFF

Insurgent running in his own Mines (Odium now as one of the kidnappers)

Saving hostages gonne wrong

Hahaha hilarious stuff on the outtakes Tonci - I found it just as funny when Berliner couldn't stop laughing after his blooper although I don't know German! His laugh is a classic :D

Some gameplay from yesterday evening. We went back in to clear the last part of Zagrabad. Things did not go as expected, with a helicopter going down and us hitting some heavy resistance resulting in the assault getting stuck for a while. And finally, a sneaky technical vehicle on the end.

Hope you enjoy:

Professional Another boring Village Sweep by Brigade2010
Sorry but you guys need to be a bit faster and less tacticool or even better place some more + better OPFOR units in your maps. War is hell - not like a walk in the park! Give your team/groupleader something more to do and decide it looks kinda too easy/not challenging.... :D

This is my first arma video that I managed to record - was using high command to manage a platoon size assault on a village. Features my weapon team script for the deployable MG/Mortar

You should have seen what happened before and afterwards, we had some very intense firefights and stuff like that, Odium just choose to take this particular footage becuase it was a really well executed village sweep.

The enemy AI is set to a high skill level.

The Brigade2010 enjoys to play tactical and realism oriented.

War is hell, for our enemys. :D

We have another Co32 Event this evening, so expect to see some new footage tomorrow (if I don´t forget to record again :banghead: )

And I will make sure to record some very intense firefights.

Did you ever doing some Town Fights in real Life? It is soo slow and tactical. You must check every corner, every floor and roofs. The group leader has much too do to coordinate this things well.

Its not like COD or BF that you ride with an Tank Battalion or thousands of Soldiers too 1 Town and clear it.

That's just the way the cookie crumbles sometimes -check out Op Oscar on my post on page 298 -most houses are empty, some have enemies in.. but you always treat it like there will be an enemy in there, in case you actually find one!

Enemy AI was pretty good in this one, I only gave them combat waypoints near stone walls or other cover and they used them pretty well. Couldn't even see them.

There are a few missions in ShackTac that are considered classics because they can be replayed almost week in and week out while still being fresh and exciting. One such mission is Paradrop. The mission is exactly what it sounds like, a bunch of dudes with guns jumping out of airplanes, but for the sake of this post, I will quote from "The Airborne Invasion of North Sahrani," an AAR article that Dslyecxi wrote on his site back in 2008 when Paradrop was new:

You have groups of people dropped into enemy territory, often scattered and intermingled with other units, lightly armed and typically outnumbered, relying on surprise, speed, and small-unit initiative and leadership to carry out various critical tasks that are essential towards paving the way for a much larger follow-on force, not to mention their very survival.

With that said, here is how last Saturday night's playthrough of Paradrop went:

UuZ4RtyBD7s

I feel kinda bad about screwing up the recording of my voice, so I've written subtitles for what I said, in lieu of my voice, to the best that I can remember. The mods used were ACE, ACRE, STHUD and STMovement. The island of Sahrani can be played as part of the CAA1 project.
