Hehe, yea I usually have the view distance to like 3000 with all the options maxed out. I ended up making it 10,000 and had a hell of a time trying to wait for the menu to load at 1FPS when I hit escape to lower the game settings.

Best Arma 2 video to this day, very cinematographic, better than official game teaser. I would have added some infantery combat footage tough.

Well done. Reminds me of OFP and how well put together it was as far as the story line goes. Now if someone could make a scenario build on this. I'll be one of the happiest people on the planet.

very good video, i only had a problem at 2:40-2:50 ish when the little birds were flying faster than the jets :/ but other than that the video was absolutely amazing the combat; the voice overs; and all around action was superb, hope to see the 2nd one some time soon.

Yea I don't know much about anything, so I just set the planes to "limited" speed and they ended up going pretty damned slow lol.

I suppose there is a user video thread, I just noticed it thanks to it being recently bumped to page one.

Guess I'll tack this video in there as well.

I'm just waiting for one of our mods to come in here and close this.... heh, OFP and ARMA1 get a dedicated video thread but not ARMA2. Guess it would just crowd the 500,000 stickys they've got up there now :)

Hi victor, great video but I want to know if you can make a real mission playout somewhat that way with the editor!

Are you a good mission maker or a video producer? What ever the answer is great video and my hat is off to you sir. One of the best user in game videos I have ever seen. Hope to see more.

Sorry to say I have no idea how to write even the most simple scripts after 7-8 years of playing this XD.

All I know how to do is write " this exec "camera.sqs" " in a units initialization field and go wild from their with a joystick and some time.

Has anyone attempted to use a Xbox360 controller with this game? Having two 'joysticks' (from the controller) for smooth movement would be much better than just the one you get with a normal joystick. (Hitting keys on the keyboard is too sudden and unnatural).

I don't mean to speak for him but numerous Addons (including weather effects and maps) still work from Arma1 to Arma2. There is a thread somewhere here that is asking users to submit any addons they discover working from Arma2 from Arma1. The Armaholic forums is also running the request(s) in their threads too.

You dont need to make the pilot disembark to get him to land fully. As long as the terrain is extremely flat, like the helipad is, the pilot should come to a full touch on the ground.

My first ArmA 2 video. Not original, but better than the original I think :P

I was excited when I found out that I can film it at a 15-20 fps. Demo lies! I had like 3 FPS when i tried to film the demo. Anyway I'm going to make a lot of new videos, richie you're my inspiration lol. Hey we should partner up!

Thanks for the reply :) I understand many arma 1 mods work for arma 2, i already have a few installed. I just want to know where the actual mod is from :)

Thanks!

LOL, That actually doesn't sound bad! But I even got an idea for a video.

Today I want to make my own video though, to practice with the camera and everything. I'm new to ArmA, so I need to get the hang of it, but I'm a quick learner :P
