The rifleman doesn't have kneepads :p

Glad you like the DPM, i'm much happier with it now :)

But i do know that in the past i went a bit overboard with the old kneepads so the three units with them in the pics above (SL, LMG Gunner, Marksman) will probably be the only ones with them on, maybe the odd guy with one pad...

Thanks loads stalker, the 1st person view gives a good view at the textures close up and they look great!

just wondering are you gonna keep the dust cover in the closed position??? won't bother me in the slightest if it remains so as i always use 1st person view and all the other aspects of the rifles seem beyond arma 2 quality!!! :D

loving the work, by far the addon i'm most excited about...

also, would love to know how to slow down time in arma 2... can't find out how anywhere :)

place a trigger that is activated when BLUFOR or OPFOR (or anyone) is detected/present, in the on Activation box add.

SetAccTime = whatever number from 0.1 to 4.0 (i think)

Good to hear. Yeah, I meant cause the Rifleman was the only one I saw without them. Badly worded on my part. We're looking forward to these. :)

@[CAS] Daniel, oh right, i have a strange understanding of the english language lol :)

Also, slightly unrelated but i'm having a bit of a problem with a tank turret atm, I can get it to rotate and have the gun go up and down but the shot is always fired straight, i have added the things to the memory LOD that seem to be the ones that would make it work but no luck, dunno if anyone knows the selections names needed or where i should be looking/editing...

Hi there, nice stuff you've got, if you want the bolt stay locked back after firing all your ammo add this to the weapon's cfgModels:

			class bolt_open: bolt
		{
			source="isEmpty";
		};

Where bolt is name of the animation you use for animating the weapon's bolt. Hope it helps.

I would hear what some of the forces/in the know blokes say about the L85A2 with the rail handguard should be mounting an ACOG.

Thanks for taking the time to shoot those photos mate, I have certainly just added six pix and a video to my porn collection -- I would say that the colourful goggles won't fit into the game state, but thats my personal issue.

I have been on Excersises, having to dig a trenchand fill it back in etc. Your average fighting patrol wouldn't have a bergen but surely more than belt webbing for some models?

Cracking job on the DPM's Matt!

@StalkerGB can you put the dust cover down, it would be better to have it open all the time than to try to animate it opening on the first shot?

But other than that that animated bolt is pure porn.

What do you need on fighting patrol that you couldn't fit into 58 pattern webbing?

That's why Assault Order includes a daysack on top of your webbing.

Indeed, I have been on boring excersises. Regarding what you would need really depends, tbh a daysack wouldnt look too bad.

Extra ammunition - check

Radio - check

Spare ancils for your radio - check

Extra Water - check

That's pretty much all you'll need in a daysack on an attack/patrol. Maybe a LAW/ILAW. Poncho or bivvy bag between every few blokes.

Carrying about all your dry kit, spare kit, Obs kit, OP bits, sleeping bag? Not unless you're going into a harbour.

Almost everyone going on Herrick gets the rail+grip-pod but ACOGs is stil on limited issues. Rail + SUSAT is the most common for infantry in theatre at the moment.

The only blokes I've seen with ACOGs on Herrick X were from 3 SCOTS.

Excellent Monkey, cheers. I was under the impression ACOGs where to be phased in to eventually outlive the SUSAT as part of a wider program?

I will if i get the time add ACOGs as well, and yeah the dust cover will be down, been working on something else for a few days so havent made progress with the troops, had a quick go at get the bolt locking back but it still doesnt seem to work,

do i need to add to the memory LOD the bolt_open that was defined in the config?

Oh and i still can't get the bloomin' bolts to lock back, i have put the config section TheSun posted just about everywhere and tried just about everything with the model but nothing so far :(

And i have still had no luck with my tank issue, the turret will turn but the shot is always fired straight infront of the tank, i have defined the main guns barrel in the Memory LOD and it is part of the OtocHlavne selection (refering to the barrel going up and down, this also gets it going left/right as it is linked to the OtcoVez selection in the config), whatever i try it still shoots straight, do i need to add something in the config refering to the Konec hlavne and Usti hlavne (barrel start/end)? who knows :(
