1.6 ghz duo, 100 mbit connection, useful?

I got this spare computer that I was considering if it can be used as a dedicated ArmA2 server.. anyone that can make a good based guess on how many it can support or if it even is good enough to run arma2 server.

I'd say Coop server, around 10 players, ~100 units on map. Wild guess. It heavily depends on the generation of your CPU.

I had old generation Bi-Xeon 3GHz and the system was killed by Warfare and such

Try OC-ing it to atleast 2 GHz.

Yep - it really is all dependent on the load.

As long as you don't do Warfare/Evolution/Domination/Other-enourmous-stuff you should be fine. For a "small" COOP server the requirements really aren't that great.
