Vitaz Izmash

Hello

I am currently working on a Izmash submachine gun from scratch.

To introduce you:

The Vitaz is a new russian 9mm submachine gun by Izmash, not yet aquired by the Russian Federation Army.

The following versions are planned:

Military Package

Vitaz G (Ground Version)

Vitaz Silenced

Vitaz Kobra Scope

Vitaz Kobra/Silenced

Vitaz Laser

Civilian Package

Vitaz G (With orange tip and semi automatic)

Vitaz NL (Shooting with non lethal pellets, not sure yet how to

script that:))

Atm I am solving the LODS, Parallex Maps and Configuration.

Status atm: 40%

I will update the ticker above regulary, so make sure

you keep tuning in!

How about variants with Kobra sight instead of PSO? As isn't the PSO quite high powered scope and not really ment for smgs?

1. Placing PSO on this one I think is a bit wrong since it's an SMG, not assault rifle. It's targeted for CQB/urban uses so collimator would fit much better.

2. And perhaps it's better to make a more advanced and "cool" (yeah, yeah :)) version with attachements:

But putting a PSO on a weapon that isn't a rifle caliber? I didn't think they made PSO in non 7.62/5.45 variants.

Indeed, that is as useless as putting some rifle scope on a MP5.

For a SMG like the Vitiaz something like a Cobra or the PK-AS Red dots would fit far more.

Better is a relative term.

And most weapons the eastern nations make are in some way AK47 look-a-likes externaly. For the same reason most western weapons are similar to AR15 type rifles. To simplyfy training. So its hard to get away from the look-a-likes in a game whith the real world as model.

First off there's no better or worse when it comes to different types of optics, just which one is better for the job. SMG is short range, so there's no point in having a scope.

And secondly, I think this is a sufficiently unique weapon to warrant being made. And it's hardly as if 10,000 different AKs have been made for the game so I don't know what your point is really.

Anyway, any progress on these?
