When the UAV is requested in secops, the radio text says that the UAV is on its way, but the audio says its "bingo fuel, RTB". When the UAV actually IS out of fuel, the text says "UAV is bingo fuel, rtb", but the audio says "thanks for the update". I also find that the AI gets stuck in and around the static weapons at bases which are spawned by SecOps. If you go near them or teamswitch to them, they usually free themselves, otherwise they're stuck forever. Oh yeah, and the AK107 has an odd problem. From 3D view you can see part of the mechanism [the bolt?] going in and out, but in first person, it doesn't move. See pics below. The first just started happening after the 1.03 update. During heavy gunfire, my sound starts distorting terribly even on Team Speak. This is not Team Speak related I think because everything was working fine in version 1.02 as far as sound goes even when I used Team Speak. It may have to do with soundcard buffers or something. However my main point is that there was not a problem in version 1.02 so something was changed regarding the sound in ArmA II. Bug #3: I have a legit DVD of the 505 version of the ArmA II DVD that I bought new from Amazon.com in the United States. However now when I start the game, the DVD just keeps running for like 5 minutes until it tells me that it either could not detect the DVD or that I do not have a legal copy. Now here is the wierd thing. After putting the DVD in and out of the drive a few times I'll get the menu to play, uninstall, etc... that automatically loads from the DVD. When I use the play option from that menu, then sometimes I'll get a wierd little box that says "deleting" some file (its took quick and doesn't always appear) and then the game boots up just fine. It will also then work on multiplayer just fine. The problem is that this is now the only way I'm able to run the game and thus can now no longer use mod folders. Any advice on what may be causing this would be very much appreciated. Please don't tell me to buy a Steam version as I'm unemployed right now and don't have money to waste especially when I already plucked down good money for this DVD. Also I should note, that as many of the BI devlopers know (but for those at BI that don't know), I have been with the OFP/ArmA community since the beginning when the OFP Demo was being developed and I am head of the oldest surviving mod from OFP (The Lost Brothers Mod). far-napalm 10 Posted August 17, 2009 I don't know if it's a bug but I try something on the editor to saw how much bullet need to damage a tank. I try the M2 against the T90 and after some shoot in x4, the canon of the T90 was in damage and the turret damage too and the tank explode after 60 cartdridge... : / I try the same with a t72 and it make nothing, but with the T90 it works. Chaos 0 Posted August 17, 2009 AI led mortar groups, who one soldier (w/o mortar) has contact with enemy, but the mortars doesn´t see the target, doesn´t fire. CaptainBravo 0 Posted August 18, 2009 I did not see this as a bug on main list but High Command module groups stop responding halfway through a mission and will not move. You can hear leader of group giving command to his squad move to xyz 100 meters north yet no one moves. I hope the next patch addreses this as High Command is one of the best features in game. B. - Set Independent Friendly To BLUFOR. - Add SecOp Manager module. - Sync SecOp to player (any side) result: They're nice to eachother. In fact it seems like it doesn't matter if you sync the module or not, but I suppose it makes more sense if you do. It seems that a lot of these buildings, when destroyed, do not stop bullets and the AI can see you through them. Specifically: 3-Story Building-Has an arch way in it. 067 - 129. Right along the Eastern edge of the Grid Square. Western Edge of the City-Square. I can't find its model name anywhere. Edit: Looks like it might be: Land_HouseBlock_C5. Walls and floors at the 2nd floor of the destroyed hospital building can also be shot through. ClockTower/City Hall and the Hotel are fine. But there are many of these 3-story city buildings that can be shot through and possibly seen through and its very annoying. Also in the first post there is a mention of a bench stuck in a wall. Everytime you call the AirStrike (point and click on the general area) it will leave a lased dot that can be seen even though you are not using the laser designator. -Sorry if this was mentioned. Tanks and vehicles would just try to run above any other vehilces in the way instead of avoiding the block things. But for men, they would sometimes pass through a body of vehicle or on the contrary, just keep running in the same place and couldn't go forward. These are the most obvious bugs to me. wamingo 1 Posted August 19, 2009 Found some oddities when bullets hit the weapon of a soldier. 1. Shoot 30-200 bullets at an m16/ak/others and they no longer stop bullets (not all weapons behave the same). 2. If you do the above, certain weapons on other soldiers also stops repelling bullets. Very odd. 3. SVD doesn't stop bullets at all. 4. The hit effect on m249 / PKP / M40A3 is dirt/dust instead of sparks. 5. Hitting the barrel of a mortar several times will kill the crew. Chaos 0 Posted August 19, 2009 Its not a bug - i want - but its not logical: Shooting on tyres of wheeled vehicles, causes disembarking by the crew. But its not realistic to leave good working tower or weapon (LAV25,HMMWV mk19 etc.) when enemy is near, and fighting outside of the vehicle. The crew (in first the gunners/commnader) should be still in the vehicle, behind the good saving armor, an fight aganist the enemy so long they can or the enemy is alive and nearby. My apologies I did not read the first post and assumed that by content they meant the game itself. Content I believe is what is responsible for my bugs. So my apologies for my misunderstanding. However, I tried the community issue tracker before posting here and was lost...sorry I'm an idiot at navigating such sights and totally unfamiliar with how it works and how to search for the bugs I'm experiencing so I don't repost something that already exists. Any other ideas of where I would post the bugs that I had? I'm feeling a bit frustrated and as I stated earlier, I've been one of the most loyal and outspoken OFP/ArmA fans/mod developers since the beginning. I would hope that such loyalty to BI (along with introducing their products to countless new customers) deserves a bit of respect from BI. I would recommend that BI post some kind of tutorial on how to use the Community Issue Tracker for those of us unfamiliar with such websites as it was a bit overwhelming for me. Sabbath 10 Posted August 21, 2009 I didn't notice this is the normal Domination west 1.01 servers, but in the new Domination west 1.03 servers when you disconnect from the server, then rejoin the same server your points get doubled. Example, last night I disconnected from the server so I could rejoin and put myself in the same squad as my mate. After I rejoined I saw my points had doubled. So my mate tried it and after rejoining his points had doubled. I know this is not a game breaker but it is a bug that I am letting the BIS team know about. -=Firewall=- 10 Posted August 21, 2009 Problem with M1 tank: When the gunner fires on infantry autonomous with the machine gun, then it's impossible to target tanks with TAB, because the gunner does not switch back to Sabot.You have to target the tank yourself, but the gunner attacks it with the MG. You have to switch to Sabot yourself!!!! Dont know if this happens to other tanks too. I hope the developers read our reports and correct it in 1.04! :) Good Night!
