Any news on what the demo will include?

And is the demo a fair indication of what graphical settings we'll be able to use in the FULL version?

From what I have gathered, the demo will contain a single player component (probably basic training and a few mission scenarios), a multiplayer component with up to 16 players and a small portion of Chernarus - I assume something like 5x5km. You can expect the graphics settings to be the same as in the full game. Anything else would be stupid.

It was also indicated that the demo will be the same version as the Steam release, and that the Steam release will be version "1.02+", meaning possible improvements over standard Arma2 1.02. :)

That's all I know/guess.

argghhh, i just beat the arma 1 campaing to pass time. Now i have my fingers crossed that my wimpy 2.1 ghz dual core processor can at least average over 17 fps on medium settings

I would normally contribute too, but my whimpy 768kbit upstream bandwidth won't make much difference. Anyway I won't be home until about two hours after the demo is released. By then I'm sure there will be lots more seeders. :)
