The Work`s continue... Switzerland Mod goes Arma2.

Hi All :)

I've started to convert the Switzerland mod for Arma2.

Here first Ingame Screens of a swiss paratrooper and the SuperPuma332.

SWM ARMORY 2.0 Improvement Proposals /BUG List

- some missing things in readme (wip) my self

- missing entry in swm_misc config.cfg "HandGrenade_West" only in MP/MP editor [wip] report in Bis Forum

- RECOILS for Weapons must be reworked.(wip) report in Bis Forum

- missing Stinger: have to add a Stinger with ammo in ammobox. [wip] report Redfish

- javlin ammo in ammobox without launcher. /remove. [wip] report Redfish

- Addon swm_misc (entry Binocular) not found in the list of active addons. report eggbeast

- Addon swm_misc (entry HandGrenade_West) not found in the list of active addons. report eggbeast

I have not forgotten you....;)

I know, long time no News from SWM (creative break :)) , but im back now and continue the Work. ( much work to do :p )

only do I have to incorporate something into the new tools ect.....

I got feedback from many people the want the SWM weapons from A1 for A2. so, me and Darkgiver have started with porting the SWM weapons.

- The New SWISS Weapons for ARMA2 will come out as a standalone Addon.

when we deal with the weapons, we will devote the rest of the SWM modification.

The Plan for the future is all .pbo`s from SWM V1.3 (Arma1) to release as standalone addons and as a whole pack.

here a first screen of the SIG550 GL97 AIM and the SIG 552 MP AIM

(WIP status for the whole weapon pack ca. 75%)

I have now updated all .rvmat`s and texture`s with the new one`s are used in Arma2.(new parameters, detail-maps, _as, ect.)

and corrected the .rvmat and textures for the transparent magazin and the missing spring. ( u can see the error some pic`s above )

of course the weapon`s are fully animated like in A1 (Rechargeable Handle,trigger,bullets, spring)

Is just me or the sigs ( at least in the firsts screens ) look a bit "bright" the last one seems better but still a bit "bright"

It's probably because you're used to seeing guns with lots of black and dark grey. SG550s usually are light grey and green.

SIGs use a transparent magazine so you can get a good idea of how much ammo you have left by looking at it.

Also, I forgot to say earlier that that last picture there looks fantastic, good job!

the Sig 550, 551, and 552 are my absolute favorite guns. Keep up the good work!

Will we be able to see all weapon accessory configurations you will be adding? :)

Jep, here is a link to a Weapon list from Swm_Weapons V1.3 for Arma with all Info we need: (Weapon Classname, Magazin, Pic`s, ect. ect.)

I think the diffuse texture could use some contrast to emphase the shadows and imperfections of the surfaces. Specular effect may also be too strong and flat causing the slight overbrightness.
