I would like to request a add on of Cod 4 characters, and MW2 charcters.

Khaled Al-Asad: is a military commander in an unnamed Arab country in the Arabian Peninsula. He was featured in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare as the main villain in the first chapter, until Imran Zakhaev takes his place as the primary antagonist in the other two chapters.

Cpt Price: Captain John Price, callsign Bravo Six, is an English character featured in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, a member of the British SAS. He often carried a modified M4A1 and wore a boonie hat during field operations. In Modern Warfare 2 (set five years after the first game), Price was incarcerated in a Russian gulag. He is later rescued and becomes the field commander of Task Force 141.

Soap: John "Soap" MacTavish is a Scottish main character in the game Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare as a Sergeant and serving as the team's sniper and demolitions expert, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 as a Captain and commanding officer of Gary Sanderson (the main playable character of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2), and is considered to be the general protagonist in the Modern Warfare series. He plays a major role during the Ultranationalist crisis, a newcomer to the British SAS and part of Captain Price's Bravo Team. Soap is the apparent field commander of Task Force 141.

Gaz: Callsign Bravo Five, was an English soldier, a member of the British Special Air Service and a veteran special forces operator featured in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. He may have come from London, as his accent suggests; he also insists that after the team has completed their operation in Russia, they should stop by London before departing to the US.

Ghost: Lieutenant Simon "Ghost" Riley was a British character in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 graphic novel comic series Modern Warfare 2: Ghost. He is the second in command of Task Force 141, and is seen wearing dark red sunglasses and a skull patterned balaclava.

Nikolai is the code name for a Russian informant amongst Imran Zakhaev's Ultranationalists and ally of the SAS in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. He continues to help MacTavish in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. He is also a pilot in MW2.

How easy would it be to resize some of BI's default explosions? I feel that the RPGs, M136s and especially the FFARs throw out way too much smoke. They shouldn't completely hide a 40 ton tank or obscure a wide road. Also, the puff of flame is both excessively large (much greater than the radius of damage for HEAT weapons) and very low quality, so making it smaller would improve the aesthetics.

I'm talking about the impact smoke, not the trail smoke. It's hard to find footage of them going off except from very long ranges, but what I have seen are much more modest clouds of dust.

The Russians use both 50mm and 80mm rockets, and the explosions are the same size.

I just got one the other day. (airsoft of course) and must say this is a sweet weapon. would LOVE to see someone put it in my favorite game.

any pics needed or anything just post it here and ill take them for ya.

its basically a TINY FN Scar, with an AK folding stock. I can get pics

with most accessories, Acog, Eotech 552, Magpul angled grip, stubby forward grip, flashlights, peq-15, whatever youd want to model.

I modeled a KAC PDW for FO3, (complete with the dimpled barrel) but I've no idea how to get it to function in the BIS engine.

99% of you may not even know if Azerbaijan is even a country, so i will

inform you: Azerbaijan is a country stolen form Turkey by the Soviets, but

were never able to reunite with Turkey because Armenia separates us. The

architechture in Azerbaijan is a mix of Ottoman, Persian, Russian, Georgian.

Most of the city looks as a combination of streets in Istanbul and

St. Petersburg, but only 3-4 levels tall.

Feel pretty guilty for requesting an addon, but anyway: Some would consider

Azerbaijan the "Real life RACS" because they use both Russian and Western

weapons, so many non-Turk/Azeri players could end up liking the Azeri

military. And the Azeri army could fit into almost any made-up storyline,

because they border Dagestan/Chechnya(Where Chernarus is most likely

based off of), Russia, Iran and Armenia, and they are fighting in Iraq and

Afghanistan.

It may be hard to find info of Azeri military in internet in English, so i will make

a list. Most of these weapons are already in ArmA. I will be greatful with ANY

of these.

Azeri Army: T-72, SA-8 SAM, BMP-2, BRDM-2, UAZ, Ural, Shilka

Azeri Air Force: Mi-24D/V, Su-25, Su-27, Su-17, Mig-29, Mig-25

Azeri Inf Weap: AK-74(No Kobra), M-4, M-16A4, RPG, M-136-AT4, AKMS Foldable, AK-74S SD

Azeri Inf Uniform: Basically Desert Camo similar to the camo used by the US

in Op Desert Storm (But without the small rocks). And woodland camo almost

exactly like the SLA's camo(dark green and black, but with short sleeves).

The actual uniform is shaped similar to the Spanish army.

Generals dress usually the same as Turkish generals dress, except for the

rank symbol.

I feel VERY guilty for asking, and I would gladly make this mod myself

without complaint (and I would PREFER to make it mysefl), but I cant seem

to be able to retexture ANYTHING without crashing the game upon loading

the unit i modified. If someone could make some Azerbaijani units, or show

me how to retexture units, i and my friends would be very greatful.

If anyone decides to pick up the reins along the lines of JTDSmokeAndFire, could they perhaps consider making an effect for dust rising from the ground when weapons are fired in proximity to surfaces such as the ground or wall-tops, etc.

Vary the radius of the rising dust effect depending on the weapon used and the proximity to the surface. Perhaps this could be expanded to simulate the shockwaves from explosive weapons etc. I feel that the smoke is covered well already by JTD and the fire is more or less fine (though i would like to be able to turn the fire off entirely), but the shockwave and rising dust would increase atmosphere heaps. Thx in advance

Pragmatically for us, the reason is the forum is privately owned and those are the rules.

The intention of the rule is to make life smoother for people who have slower connections or connections that are a ways away, I suppose. That way the maximum number of people can enjoy a better forum experience.

could somebody reskin the takistani regulars so that they wear lizard camo shirts and pants and their vest are olive drab instead of the other way around? they would look so much better wearing the lizard on their clothes.

No but like isnt there a flashlight like lets say its a script that make's some light come out of your hand, and it make's light infront of the person

Seeing as Arrowhead didn't add any kind of usable flashlights to other weapons than just SCAR and Glock, it would be great to get this kind of flashlight mod. It would be cool if the flashlight could be handheld instead of attached to the weapon. Then it would be usable for all sides.

AaninPanje - PM me if you want , but if game has ctd after you make reskin, than you make somekind of mistakes

to make valid proper reskin:

- create folder, create reskins

- put there copy of p3d files you want to reskin

- hex-edit them, change path to texture you want to change but KEEP number of letter !!!

do not change it

look at example:

ca/characters/data/orginal_texture_co.paa ( lets say 37 letters before extension)

so new name can be:

your_addon/12data/orginal_texture_co.paa

and with proper config it will work

if you were changing path to texture and number of bits was changing- you had ctd as a result

100 kb rule, maybe it should be 150 kb, but... for sure not 200 or 300

I am not really sure if this is a request but more of a wondering if people agree and if there's a mod for it. So here I go. To me the us soldiers outfits are quite...lightweight. They don't carry near as much stuff as normal soldiers do. Then again, I may be wrong but look at this video(graphic nature WARNING)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4dcHBmXCTg

The soldiers there don't resemble too much of the soldiers in Arrowhead. So please, correct me if I am wrong. If not, please can u reccomend me a mod?
