Using first aid modules lag the game?

Recommended Posts

I play on very high, and when I put first aid modules on even one rifle squad, the game ends up lagging pretty bad. Any way to fix this? I turn the settings on very low and it still ends up lagging me so I just kept em on very high.

One thing I noticed was playing with "High" blood makes pools/trails for wounded guys. Playing on "Low" blood does not. With High, lags out, Low, it doesn't.

Pretty sure it is the blood pools/trails that are causing the lag.

Sounds like a bug that belongs on the bugtracker:

Saw that one myself, I think you're right.

It is the pooling blood. After a lot of observation, it was the blood on the latter half of it's expansion. When looking at bare ground with only part of a blood trail in my field of view, frame rate steadily declines at this point then shortly after the spread/expansion is over, steadily returns to normal.

Believe it continually pours out of the injured though, so once they sit a while, having them in your view will grind things to a halt.
