while running around in the sf camp i encountered the same bug i had with the weapons, not all the buildings have this problem but i havent been able to isolate the problem causing building and i also dont have the time at the moment.

i hope you will find an answer to this problem.

Thank you! I used to play the first OFP Unsung mod for hours on end it was awesome, D/L this now cant wait to play BTW is there co-op missions with the mod?

Is there any problem with running it on Arma 1.16 Beta and QG .... I had an error about access to skeleton cfg in bin.

Also there are some files that are not signed in the release, like madmatts effects, rain & sky addon.

especially matt's effects and rain can lower FPS on clients and rain is problematic with servers... FYI..

hey the mod is sooo good:yay: ...i have vietcong1 feelings ,but i cant hear the unsung music-clips or unsung speak samples from the editor when i set a waypoint and go to effects an click a unsung music file ...when i go in the game i cant hear it :(...is that a bug or i have only this problem

Ive just had a quick blast of the game and its the first time ive run ArmA on high settings :) and I get decent fps, one thing I have noticed is that I don't hear any foot step noises have I installed something wrong? Im running it on 1.16.

Also my ArmA crashes when I place a soldier with CAR into KDuc and try to shoot .. i guess sound problem..

finaly!!!

love it, car-15s, shotguns, green hornet and gunship hueys, dodge - love those totaly :)

i'm up for MP games, any server guys? or should i check hawknam's forum?

great work, even for alpha state!

No I'm afraid it isn't compatible.

Yup, we realised a couple of hours ago, that will be sorted :)

Thanks for the kind words all, as you know it has taken a hell of a long time to get this out and as you can all appreciate it is an Alpha so there will be some annoying bugs, however these will be fixed down the line :)

Only the incountry map works in editor for me...in the other two, Ntavak and Kduc, no sound and my arma crashes in 5 seconds. Also I cannot use the action menus in those islands...like can't see "Gear" or "get in heli" etc..

same problem for me ... ATI bug and crash to descktop "cannot create...."

really nice looking ... good job waiting for fixing

Just tested unsung again, this time mp missions with ai.

Jungles are soooo sweet and dence that i spot gooks only at very close distances, ofcourse i get freaked out and start spraying bullets at full fire mode.

Tryed TEH JUNGLES at very high settings and it was like O.O unbelievable, sadly i can't play arma at very high, only at low/very low settings (old PC... ).

I have played arma2 and coming back to arma+unsung was not that frustrating! Just that there are no footsteps or equipement sounds while moving and terrain's textures(sand at the bases) looks not very good. All in all, i still love it!

Now want to play MP with good old fellas from OFP's Jungle Fever mod (warrior x, hawknam, cj525, csj and others) :)

Runs fine on my computer,TOSHIBA SATELLITE X200-21P Intel Core 2 Duo T7700 2.4 GHz Memory 4096 MB,Graphics adapter

NVIDIA GeForce SLI 8600M GT chips 2x256MB GDDR3 VRAM.

1280:800 all settings on high view distance 1700 and no anisotropic filtering or antialiasing work fine for 20/30 fps.

Hmm dont know bout that one I cant reproduce error its working fine from what I see.

To all, QG is not required for this mod so dont use it , it may solve a lot of your errors.

They didnt make it into this release they are sitting there ready for the next , I had all sorts of trouble trying to get them to work :P Im hoping some new sound guys will join and help plug the sounds in, we also need a master configger to tidy a few things up.

some nasty errors in server rpt file ... attaching for your attention.

about missing footstep equipement sounds...

i have extracted uns_sounds.pbo, every sounds are there and even bonus, love those soldier speeches, enviroment, battle, gunfire, equipement sounds, but it seems they are not configed into the mod :)

sorry for my curiousity... ;)

hmmm okay re the ati errors I originally had an ATI card and it did not like textures that where not square, we'll look into the offending models and hunt down any none square textures. regarding the lack of ingame sound regarding footsteps etc, just wondering if your running and other mods at the same time if so try disabeling them, and tell us what mods your running, if it's ACE or other mods of those stature we can chat with those guys and see if we are running conflicts. I got rid of my ati card and my texture errors went away....now I was forced to get another card. We will be looking into these and other reported bugs, thanks for the feed back guys it helps us make a better mod.

@ GEDIS I prefer MP missions and yes we have a server up and running, we are in the proccess of making more mp missions, and look forward to have mature mp players join us in the jungles as team mates or counter recon guys. Once we have sorted out the server we will open it to the public.

I'm only running beta mod for 1.16 beta along with Unsung.

My config is 8800 GTS 512 with 180.47.

The exact problem is;

The InCountry Map works ... sounds, map, SP missions, in the editor etc...I have no problem with it whatsoever.

For the other 2 Maps;

In the editor when I place a soldier & preview and there is not action menu items.

No sound like wind/footstep etc...

As soon as I shoot or some seconds later, Arma crashes.

SP & MP missions crashes Arma as soon as mission starts.

In MP, I2m getting "no entry to cfgSkeleton in config.bin" and lots of related error in rpt file.

holy smokes!!! you even included porno pictures and magazines (playboy) in the us military objects, thank you soooo much, now i'll have to go to the field toilet, sit there for some time while i "read" those magz :D This mod is total uberness, nothing less!

btw, after removing -DBE1 from shorcut i seemed to hear wind, military bases sounds and very silent foot steps!

hm... to increase footstep sounds i need to increase db value in the config?
