There's a much better SSAO implementation within ArmA2 itself (since NVidia's effect doesn't know which object isn't eligible for ambient occlusion within ArmA's world and will shade the sky when birds fly through it for example) but you can't have it without turning on annoying bloom, blur and DOF which ruin the image instead of making it look more real.
